The Community Center will be offering a Fall Lifeguard Training program starting in November. There is a mandatory pre-course swim testing that must happen prior to signing up. Pre-course trainings are held on Wednesday's at 7:15 pm beginning September 9, 2026. The pre-course testing sessions are free of charge and will be offered every Wednesday night until November 11. These sessions are designed to evaluate candidates, with conditioning and stroke improvement assistance available on-site. Age Requirement: candidates must be 15 years or older. We are offering a blended learning course requiring 7 hours of online coursework to be completed at home prior to the first in-person date. The course schedule is as follows: November 16, 18, and 20 (Mon, Wed, Fri): 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM and November 21 (Saturday): 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
The registration fee is $70 which is collected upon successful completion of the pre-course to secure a spot on the roster.
