Happy Birthday, Lilli! 🎉💚

We hope you have an amazing day and get the opportunity to celebrate this special day surrounded by the people close to you! Lilli brings an incredible amount of character, competitiveness, and energy to our team. She is a great teammate who isn’t afraid to speak up when needed and will always stand up for the people around her. She brings a competitive edge to everything she does and is someone her teammates know they can count on both on and off the ice.

On the ice, Lilli is a physical and highly competitive forward who brings a strong presence to our lineup. The 5-foot-9 forward uses her size and strength to make an impact, while also having the speed to burn defenders and a lethal shot around the net. Her offensive ability was on full display last season when she put together an impressive stretch of nine points in nine games between January 17 and February 13. As we head into the upcoming season, Lilli will be leaned upon heavily to continue making an impact for our team. Lilli’s competitiveness is one of the things that makes her such a valuable teammate. She plays with an edge, isn’t afraid to battle, and brings a physical presence that can make a difference throughout a game. Her ability to combine that physicality with her speed and offensive skill makes her a dangerous player whenever she is on the ice.

Off the ice, Lilli sets an example. A Sports Management major, Lilli finished last year with a 4.0 GPA, demonstrating the same commitment to excellence in the classroom that she brings to being a student-athlete. Balancing hockey with a full course load is no small accomplishment, and we are incredibly proud of what she continues to achieve academically.

Lilli, we feel incredibly lucky to have you as part of our Panther family. Your competitiveness, toughness, character, and commitment to those around you make you such an important part of our program. We are so excited to see everything you accomplish this upcoming season and to continue watching you grow, develop, and make your mark - both on the ice and off it.

Happy Birthday, Jorja! 🎉💚

We hope you’ve had an amazing day and had the opportunity to celebrate this special day surrounded by the people close to you!

Jorja brings an incredible amount of commitment and character to our team. She is a thoughtful, kind, and fun teammate who always finds a way to bring a smile to those around her - whether through her great sense of humour, a thoughtful gesture, or simply the way she supports those around her.

On the ice, Jorja brings a calmness and stability to our crease that provides a steady presence for our team. That composure is matched by a fierce competitiveness. Jorja hates to lose and pushes herself to perform at her best every day, giving her team every opportunity to succeed. Whether it’s a glove save off the rush, a perfectly placed stretch pass up ice, or a key save in a big moment, Jorja is someone we can always count on to come through when her team needs her most. Her efforts were recognized last spring when she earned a spot on the LEC Women’s Ice Hockey All-Rookie Team.

Just as importantly, Jorja is deeply committed to her teammates and our program. She continually asks questions, seeks feedback, and looks for ways to improve, always striving to become the best version of herself, to help the team succeed.

A Psychology major, Jorja has also led by example in the classroom. She finished her first season with a 4.0 GPA during the spring 2026 semester, demonstrating the same dedication and pursuit of excellence academically that she brings to the ice. Her commitment to academic achievement is something we value tremendously as a program, and we are incredibly proud of the example she continues to set both on and off the ice.

Jorja, you bring so many incredible qualities to our team, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have you as part of our Panther family.

We are so excited to continue watching you learn, grow, and develop - both as an athlete and as a person.

SHE’S HEADED DOWN UNDER! ✍🏼🇦🇺

Plymouth State Women’s Hockey is incredibly proud to announce that our very own Caeli Reed has signed with the Perth Inferno (Perth Inferno)of the Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL)!

Based in Perth, Western Australia, the Inferno compete at the highest level of women’s ice hockey in Australia. Caeli will take her talents across the world as she continues her hockey journey on the international stage! 🇦🇺🏒

During her time at Plymouth State, Reed made an incredible impact in multiple roles, contributing at both forward and defense and consistently finding ways to make a positive difference on the ice for our team. She was also a major contributor to our first conference championship in program history in 2025. 🏆

Caeli brought strong skating, physical competitiveness, a hard shot, and a relentless commitment to helping her team succeed. Just as importantly, she was an incredible teammate and leader. During her senior season, she helped lead and mentor 11 first-year players, sharing her experience and helping those around her grow.

Head Coach Ben Chipman: “Caeli has been a true pleasure to coach. She is a versatile player who will buy into whatever role is needed to help the team succeed. Helping bring along 11 first-year players last season is a huge testament to her leadership and presence within our locker room. She was part of some really big moments for our program, including playing a major role in the game-winning goal in 2025 scored by her teammate Juliet. She is a strong skater, competes extremely hard off the puck, and possesses a strong, hard shot. She will make an incredible impact both on and off the ice with the Inferno.”

From making key contributions on and off the ice to helping create some of the biggest moments in program history, Caeli has truly made a lasting impact on Plymouth State.

We’re incredibly proud to have called her a Panther for the last two seasons, and we can’t wait to follow her as she takes her game to the international stage!
