Didn’t get a chance to finish today because of the weather but these girls definitely played some of their best softball of the season today! They were 2 outs from the gold bracket semifinals, undefeated all day, and scored 24 runs while only giving up 3 all day! We’re still not where we want to be as a group but it’s safe to say we’re moving in the right direction 🧡🥎🖤

Since I’ve been coaching softball I started the trend of getting pied in the face for certain team goals met and with the amount of time and work I put these girls through its a small token for the long days/nights they put in. With that being said I told them if we came back with some hardware 💍 they could our Coach in the face and this is how it went…😂

Sometimes it’s not easy for a new group of girls especially when it’s the first ever travel tournament for half the team and all these girls did was go out today and compete and messed around and brought home some hardware 💍 didn’t get the champion ring but first time together as a group and to bring home a finalist ring is a successful weekend.
We’re Far from where we want to be but it’s safe to say after some mistakes get cleaned up and we limit our walks this team will be a force to be reckoned with! 🧡🥎🖤

If you’re in the fultondale area put on some orange and black 🧡🖤 and come support these girls but if you’re not able you can keep live updates on GameChanger bracket starts at 3:15 if you can’t make pool play.
