Renaissance Shooting Club
Private shooting sports and fi****ms club with rifle, pistol, and tactical shooting ranges.
For the thirty seventh match in a row, Tanner Thompson won the best dressed award. Today Tanner was sporting Khakis and a starched white shirt. It was quite a contrast to the beach wear he wore last week. His uncanny ability to look good regardless of his apparel choices is only one of many reasons why he has become a fan favorite!
Do you know what the most scared thing in the world is? Those three poppers Paulo is trying to hit. They know that at any minute they might be hammered by the Warrior Prince wielding the powerful CZ Shadow with the loose optic. Should that optic slide a fraction of a inch one way or another and they would be pounded backward like Dirty Harry blasting a bad guy. Are you feeling lucky punk? Well are you!
Once again, I bet the farm on Jake and now I'm broke. The old saying you can't win the match in one stage but you can loose the match in one stage rings true today. Jake won 2 of the 4 stages and placed second in another but in this stage 😱😱😱
9/5/26 Pistol Match winner....Lanz!!! That's right, he beat them like a big bass drum. Beat them like Patrick Swayze in Roadhouse!!! Beat'um like Rocky beat what's his name....in whatever movie it was....
RSC MIL-SURP RIFLE MATCH

Time to dust off the old war horses and find out why nobody uses bolt actions or 8 Ma**er anymore. We had so much fun clearing malfunctions last time that we’ve decided to do it again! There will be 4 rifle stages set up in the rifle bay. Tommy has generously allowed us to use his steel so we can shoot 30.06/8mauser/.308, etc.
This is an excuse to shoot the old rifles in the safe but don’t let that stop you from coming out. If all you have is modern stuff, bring it.
Divisions:
WW2: 1946-earlier (irons only)
COLD WAR: 1947-1991 (irons only)
MODERN: 1991-2026 (anything with an optic)

Note: Lever actions will be in Heavy Metal regardless of the caliber.
Period correct optics can be used at the discretion of the match director.
This match will take place on the rifle range directly behind the pro shop.
Round counts reflect the Heavy Metal division. Double them for Hard Rock. Triple them for Yacht rock.

Range Dojo
Match starts: September 13, 2026 @ 9:00 AM · Match ends: September 13, 2026 @ 12:00 PM
Range Dojo Overview:
Range Dojo is a continuous training program focused on safe firearm handling, practical marksmanship, movement, and becoming more comfortable and capable with your equipment under stress. The goal is to provide experienced shooters with a structured and positive environment where they can regularly challenge themselves, identify areas for improvement and continue building skills.
Shooters should expect physical activity, including movement between positions, getting up and down from the ground, carrying equipment, and working through a variety of shooting positions and courses of fire.
Events generally consist of 3–5 stages, with shooters having the opportunity to run stages 2–3 times. Most stages are untimed and run one shooter at a time, although some may include team-based exercises or time scoring.
Range Dojo is designed around the idea of continuous improvement rather than competition. Shooters may use a rifle or PCC along with a sidearm and are encouraged to bring the gear they normally use or want to train. Each event provides an opportunity to safely test yourself and equipment outside of a traditional static range environment.
Experience & Safety
Range Dojo is intended for experienced shooters who already have a strong foundation in firearm safety and weapon handling. Participants should be comfortable handling their fi****ms independently and have prior experience with dynamic or run-and-gun style shooting. You do not need to be an expert or competitive shooter, but Range Dojo is NOT intended as an introduction to shooting or fi****ms fundamentals. All participants must be able to safely and confidently follow RSO instructions throughout the event.
If you're interested but aren't sure whether you're ready to participate, you're welcome to visit an event, observe, and speak with the RSO about what to expect.

Rifle or PCC
Pistol
OWB retention holster
Sling for rifle/PCC
