Jake had them running on his second course of fire. Jake didn't have to toss the kettle bell but he had to cover a lot of ground today. The Range is fortunate to have some good RSOs that put together these awesome matches.

What's a little rain when you are having so much fun? Josh's second stage had them shooting strong hand, weak hand, offhand rifle and a mixture of other shooting styles. Most of this stuff regular shooters don't practice so it was ....interesting. The last few shooters that braved the rain were awesome good sports!

Jake was being mean to the guys today....imagine tossing a kettle bell over a barricade....again....and again.......and again!!!! At this point Jake has overtaken Chris as "The Punisher"......sign up for Range DOJO and see what Chris has to offer!

Here Michael is shooting his Greek SAR HK 91 clone. They are very interesting fi****ms because they fire a powerful 308 cartridge but is has an aluminum receiver. It is my experience that the HK 91s and their clones kick like mules, very harsh recoil. Just another unusual gun brought out for us to enjoy.

Some of the weapons shot were M1 Carbines, Lee Enfield, 1917 Eddystone, M1 Garand, BM59, Egyptian Hakim. It was a great time to dig through the safe and shoot some neglected fi****ms and share the quirks they all had.

This month's Mil-Surp match is in the books. No fingers or toes were lost and a good time was had by all. Tommy was the last place shooter having both vision and weapon malfunctions. Allan was the overall winner (not considering classification) with good performance from his M1 Carbine. It was apparent that we don't shoot these old war horses often enough because there were several weapon malfunctions. We worked as a Team to overcome the urge to laugh at each other........but we failed, we laughed, we laughed a lot, hurtful comments we said and then we laughed some more. Overall it was a great evening shooting with friends!!!
