Congratulations to Kennedy Cook for earning the Avoli Award at the Prep Dig Up Next Dallas Middle School Camp! 🐸
PrepDig Texas didn’t hold back: “The Avoli Award is not handed out on potential alone. It is given to the player who defines what the event is supposed to look like — not just in skill, but in character, in leadership, and in the way she makes the floor feel different when she is on it.”
Kennedy stood out with disciplined footwork, a high, consistent contact point, and the ability to adjust to imperfect sets without forcing the ball. Her serve-receive discipline and defensive effort showed a player who contributes in all six rotations — and her leadership on the sideline was just as loud as her play on the court.
Class of 2031. 5’11”. And still just getting started.
