WE HAVE AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING THE 7TH ANNUAL PLAISTOW FISH AND GAME MOTORCYCLE RIDE !!!!!. We've been monitoring the weather for Sunday. And have made a command decision in the interest of safety as it appears to be a miserable rainy situation for the better part of the day. Being that it's a GROUP ride, we don't want to put our riders in a situation where traction and visibility for us and other vehicles on the road may cause an incident where someone could get hurt. I know alot of you have the gear and are die hard riders, but it's a decision we've had to make for the good of the group. BUT, THAT BEING SAID. THE FUNDRAISING EVENT WILL GO ON!!! The club has graciously offered the indoor event hall so that we can continue with our food, DJ music, raffles etc. THERE'S ALOT OF PLANNING AND LOGISTICS INVOLVEDwith foo food, our DJ who volunteers, our grill master who volunteers and the club availability. So instead of setting another date, we INVITE YOU to come out to Plaistow Fish and game club for ELEVEN AM to participate in the usual after ride festivities. We ask for the regular donation that you graciously pay to participate in the ride. REMEMBER THAT THIS IS A HUGE FUNDRAISER THAT HELPS OUR VETERANS ATTEND HUNTING AND FISHING TRIPS THRU OUT THE YEAR. It affords those VETERANS to get out in the field with fellow Vets and enjoy a break from other things that occupy their daily routine. I know this is a long winded post, but we feel it's important to get the word out and we expect alot of people may just not show up otherwise if they were against riding in the rain. I think, and expect ALOT of you who love to support Veterans to come out and help US make this a successful day. Thank you all in advance and please help us get the word out to those who don't have social media.
