🏁Weekend Recap:

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️Both varsity boys and girls team competed at the Mansfield Bill Eaton Invite where they both placed 3rd as a team!🎉 On the girls side we had four runners medal with our very own Meredith Gutierrez placing 2nd overall, on the boys side we had two runners medal top 20!

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️JV competed competed in the Amarillo Invitational where over half the boys team hit a new Pr and Bradyn Medaled top 20!🎉 Overall we know what we need to improve on and will be keeping this momentum to move forward and work together!

‼️Overall we had a great meet had multiple runners have a HUGE improvement in this meet from last year and had multiple runners hit a new PR. We are going to take this momentum to keep moving forward and setting new goals!

✨CULTURE ✨

Winning is what we strive to do everyday in the classroom, in the community and at every meet we attend! Which is something that this program does very well but something we do that I am most proud of is the CULTURE we have created!

🏃‍♀️ Bianay Guerrero is a 4 year returning varsity runner who has put countless hours and dedication to this program. Sadly her season came to an end when she tore her acl playing soccer. From the start of this season she has taken on a manager role and has never missed a practice or an opportunity to support her team! Today her team got to have her back and support her as she ran her LAST RACE with her team by her side. Bianay was able to start the race receiving the first medal to start the varsity girls off! ❤️

I want to first give a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out, supported us, volunteered, cheered, and helped make this dream of having a home meet possible. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!

Our kids have been working SO hard, and today they showed just how much their hard work is paying off!

I could not be more proud and thankful for my varsity teams,they not ONLY crushed the meet but they were apart of setting up this meet every step of the way! 💪🏼

Hawk Night Recap:
This past weekend we had the privilege of competing at the Friday Hawk Night in Carrollton Tx!

🏃‍♀️The girls team absolutely killed it placing 2nd out of 24 teams! Huge shout out to Maribell who led the pack placing first out of 179 runners and Meredith for placing 4th! It was definitely team effort and the girls are excited to keep this momentum going and knowing what they need to work on moving forward!

🏃‍♂️ The boys team had a great run special shout out to Kaleb for placing 9th out of 212runners and leading the pact for Plainview! Overall the boys as a team placed 9th out of 27 teams! The boys team is ready to keep improving while working together to hold each other accountable for their Individual goals!

In total both teams had multiple individuals who hit a new PR and we are now ready to refocus and start preparing for our first home meet! 💪🏼🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🐔Today we had such a fun start to the season and we are only going to get better from here! We had multiple athletes hit a new personal best and everyone competed for their partner till the very end!

‼️Special shout out to our top two boy teams Jayden, Evan, Kaleb, and Noah both teams placed top 20 out of 102 teams!

🎉I also wanted to give Maribel and Meredith a HUGE shoutout for placing 3rd out of 98 teams you killed it today!🥉
