d adults. Our primary art is American Kenpo, which is a mixed martial art (MMA) developed for self-defense for all shapes and sizes. Our karate classes for children beginning at the age of three and work concepts, basics and principles that teach attacks, defenses, natural motion, body physics as well as street scenarios and sparring with safety gear. Our adult program also has a kickboxing element with equipment and control. We are a family operated academy and not a traditional fight club, however the fighting elements are universal. The PKA Karate Academy in Pittsburgh has been in existence for over 45 years. Our Classes are Age Specific, Goal Oriented and Results Driven.
