The 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, PA has been nominated for Best Professional Sports Event at this year's SportsTravel Magazine Awards, presented at the TEAMS Conference & Expo!

We're honored to be nominated alongside an incredible group of events, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the 2026 Olympic Winter Games, the 2026 NHL Stadium Series, the 2026 World Baseball Classic, and The ANNIKA Driven by Gainbridge.

The NCAA was in town, and the countdown is on 🏐

We're proud to host the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship December 2-5 alongside the Presidents' Athletic Conference at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. The nation's top 8 teams will compete for the national title here in Pittsburgh!

The 2026 Hoop Group Pitt Summer Jam Fest featured elite competition, top prospects, and nonstop basketball all weekend long!

Last week marked an exciting milestone for SportsPITTSBURGH.

We officially announced the return of the Pittsburgh Formula One Powerboat National Championship to our rivers beginning in 2027—but this is about much more than bringing back an iconic event.

For the first time, SportsPITTSBURGH will own and operate a signature sporting event, marking an exciting evolution for our organization and our mission to create experiences that drive visitation, strengthen our visitor economy and showcase Pittsburgh on a national stage.

By investing in events that leverage one of our greatest asset—our rivers—we're creating a new Fourth of July tradition while continuing to build on Pittsburgh's momentum as a premier sports and entertainment destination.
