Revitalizing Pittsburgh's oldest (and finest!) park. Allegheny Commons is an 80-acre park located in the heart of Pittsburgh's Northside.

The Commons is recognized as a significant historic and community asset and became the oldest park in the parks system of Pittsburgh when the City of Allegheny was annexed in 1907. In 1988 the City of Pittsburgh recognized its importance when the Commons was designated a City Historic District. The Commons has been determined to be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
