Last night the dojo was buzzing with all the "Back-to-School" energy!

We are so incredibly proud of these young folks for the focus, dedication, and will they have shown in their martial arts journeys leading to this moment. Each of them has practiced for over half their lives, and last night they earned their new Black Belt ranks.

In addition to the disciplined work they put into their practice, they did service projects, gathered references, and wrote reflections on their Journey. Under their fierce determination is a bedrock foundation of kindness and respect that will carry them forward in life. They chose this path, they put in the work, and they earned this incredible accomplishment.

Congratulations to our new Black Belts! Earning a Black Belt is a Journey that builds discipline, focus, strength, confidence, and heart, and these five folks brought everything they had today. It was an incredible day of accomplishment, and we are so very proud of Divya for earning her 2nd Degree Black Belt (Nidan), and Erin, Joseph, Kirsten, and Sofia for earning their 1st Degree Black Belts (Shodan).
