What a life indeed!🤿 On my last day in Fort Lauderdale, the water was impossibly calm, the timing was perfect... it felt like a greater presence was gifting me this.
I soaked in the moment, just floated there feeling incredibly grateful for this life.
My first ever solo sunrise dive also became my longest dive ever at 2 hours and 20 minutes
And unsurprisingly for this emo kid, a sunrise dive comes with a few happy tears. 🥹🌊

In my defense… LOOK AT HOW CUTE! 🥹🐢💙 Some encounters are just too exciting to contain the squeal!
This was definitely a highlight from my dusk dive at Lauderdale by the Sea 🌊🤿
The mask removal and replace skill It's easily one of the most daunting drills when you're first learning to dive!
It is totally normal for it to give you anxiety at first, but the real secret comes after you get the skill down-it's to never stop practicing it!
Almost every time I’m in the water or at the end of a dive, I try to do a short no-mask swim. Keeping this as part of my regular dive routine ensures I stay completely calm and confident if a mask ever gets kicked, flooded, or knocked loose in a real situation. Muscle memory is everything! 🙌
🥽 Gear Spotlight: The mask I wear is an Oceanic Shadow Mini. If you have a narrow face frame like me, finding a leak-free seal can be a nightmare, but this one fits like a dream.
🛍️I actually bought 2 of these masks over Splash Scuba They have a wide selection for all face frames & head sizes.
