Big congrats to Sam Smith on being our Summer Week 7 Player of the Week! 🏆☀️

Sam had a really solid week of play and was a steady presence for his team throughout the night.

A bit more about Sam:

Why did you join 3RDC?: I joined 3RDC because I played PSL dodgeball 5-6 years ago and was looking for a way to get back into it.

Fun Fact: Saudi Arabia is the only country I’ve been to outside of the US.

Big congrats to Luke Lannen on being our Summer Week 6 Player of the Week! 🏆☀️

Luke put together a great match this week and showed off the skill and experience that make him such a strong player in the league. A very solid night all around.

A bit more about Luke:

Why did you join 3RDC?: I joined 3RDC to improve my dodgeball skills and meet new friends within the community!

Fun Fact: I got into dodgeball at Penn State where we were once ranked #1 in the nation for 8.5” pinch!

Big congrats to Charlie Gates on being our Summer Week 5 Player of the Week! 🏆☀️

Charlie has been putting together some really strong play lately, with his catching ability especially standing out. His experience and consistency continue to show, and this week was another great example of it.

Charlie’s favorite 3RDC memory:

When Sophie and I both went after a deflected ball to catch it. We both turned towards each other and both failed to catch it, the ball dropping between us without either of us touching it. We are both still amazed how we failed miserably but still didn’t get out.

Big congrats to Tony Chiappelli on being named our Summer Week 4 Player of the Week and earning the recognition for a second time! 🏆☀️

Tony continued to show why he is one of the best players in the league, throwing straight fire and putting together another excellent week on the court.

Tony’s favorite thing about 3RDC:

The best part of 3RDC is the balance between talent and community. There are a lot of great players in the league, but it’s the people and the friendships that make it special. Hanging out after games almost every week is something I always look forward to, and it’s a big reason I love being part of 3RDC.

Big congrats to Jenn Adams on being our Summer Week 3 Player of the Week! 🏆☀️

Jenn was fearless at the line, holding pressure and coming up with some big catches throughout the night. We also have another special guest joining this week’s spotlight, her pup Sookie! 🐶

Why did you join 3RDC?: I joined 3RDC to stay active and try a new sport.

Fun Fact: During the Fear Factor Live show at Universal Studios, my head was locked in a plexiglass box, and then, scorpions were dumped in.

Big congrats to Ty Seward on being our Summer Week 2 Player of the Week! 🏆☀️

Ty put in some serious work for an excellent week of play and showed exactly why he continues to be such a strong competitor on the court.

Why did you join 3RDC?: I joined 3RDC along with a bunch of kickball friends. Really liked the sport and stayed with it.

Fun Fact: Fun fact about me is I love to cook, especially when its a dish or cuisine i don’t usually get to eat (nut allergy)
