Iron City Boulders is now hosting local school climbing clubs! Meet on a schedule works best for your group, and our staff will help with organization, training drills and even run competitions throughout the year.
No climbing experience necessary!

Groups from each school have access to special Pricing:
Day pass-$9 (rental shoes included) Membership- $55/mo (rental shoes + full facility access)

Fall Youth Team Tryouts are Coming Soon!
Join us on August 22 for Youth Team Tryouts at Iron City Boulders.

Our team mission is to help youth cultivate a love for the sport, community, and lifestyle of climbing through participation in competitive rock climbing.

The ICB Youth Team is divided into two levels, allowing athletes to progress based on their experience, goals, and commitment. Annual tryouts help us place each climber where they’ll thrive most.
While competition is part of our program, our focus is on developing confident, resilient climbers who enjoy challenging themselves, supporting their teammates, and having fun along the way.

We’re proud to be able to say that our team has consistently qualified athletes for USA Climbing Youth Nationals, but we’re equally proud of the supportive environment that helps every climber improve at their own pace.

What sets our program apart?
-Experienced, dedicated mixed-gender coaching staff who bring a wide range of knowledge and perspectives.
-Training specific routesetting designed to build movement skills, strength, and problem solving for climbers of every level.
-A positive team culture where athletes encourage one another, celebrate progress, and build lasting friendships.

Constellation - Pittsburgh Espresso Bar and Coffee Shop is providing us with fresh beans from Mother Tongue Coffee. We are now serving the Thirst Trap blend on drip, along with fresh iced coffee.

Kids are meant to climb! Boulder Buddies and Buds is back for the summer.

If your kids are going to be climbing the walls this summer, bring them to Iron City Boulders and let them climb ours! These classes channel a kids climbing instinct into fun, structured sessions where kids build confidence, strength, and learn age-appropriate climbing gym etiquette.

NEW COMP ALERT!!

We’re excited to announce a brand new competition at Iron City Boulders- The Spring Showdown: Tension Board 2.

This board climbing competition is sponsored by Tension Climbing and will challenge climbers to throw down on the Tension Board 2 across a range of grades.

Join us on March 27th- and remember, there is limited capacity and spots will fill quickly!
Climbers starting at V3 and up are welcome to compete

Whether you’re looking to test your strength, push your limits, or just experience the energy of a board comp, this event is going to be a blast.

Add your child (aged 12 and under) to your membership for only $20!

Not interested in a membership? Kids 6 and under can climb for just $9.50, rental shoes included.

Members aged 12 and under are eligible. Individual memberships for anyone under 18 are billed at the student rate.
