North Pittsburgh Sports

NPS has competed in six 3v3 tournaments over the last month hosted by our friends at Super Cup 3v3 Soccer. This past Friday night, 13 teams of approximately 60 players ages 6 through 12 competed at FNB Stadium: home of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.

Despite a 90+ minute weather delay, shortened matches, and a constantly changing schedule, our players, coaches, and families adapted and made the most of the weekend. We celebrated two tournament championships, two finalist finishes, and several other teams advancing to the knockout rounds. Congratulations to every player who competed. Whether your team lifted a trophy or not, every match provided an opportunity to learn, compete, and improve.

NPS proudly fielded 10 teams at the PA 3v3 Soccer Super Cup in Pittsburgh on June 20, 2025, with over 40 talented girls representing! Our players showed incredible skill, creativity, hustle, and heart on every pitch. A huge shoutout to all the athletes, coaches, and families who made the evening such a success.

Huge congratulations to our NPS 2014 team for taking home the championship at the Ohio 3v3 Soccer Akron 3v3 Tournament this past Friday, June 13th!

These players brought the heat, showed off their skill, and played with heart all night long. Fast-paced games, tight touches, creative plays—and they rose to the challenge in every match.

We’re excited to get started with our 3v3 training for this summer.

Training begins this Sunday, June 8, 2025, with sessions taking place on Sunday evenings starting at either 6:15 PM or 6:45 PM in June, July and early August. For this Sunday, training will be at 6:45 PM. Training groups will be typically organized by birth year and will usually include 6–12 players per group to ensure a focused and competitive environment.

Requirements are that the athlete plays at any area club in birth years 2018 through and including 2010.
