Pittsburgh Spirit Fastpitch Softball - 2010

What an amazing weekend these 2010’s had! After going 2-2-1 in pool play, entering Championship Sunday as the 4th seed, these girls swept 3 18u teams in a row, defeating the number 1 and 2 seed back to back. Way to play, ladies! 🖤💛👻

What a weekend! The girls started out the day as the #1 seed after going 2-0-1 in pool play! They started out championship Sunday in a nail biter ending in an international tie breaker, and Jordan Dardes with the walk off RBI, with a final score of 7-6.

They went into the championship with the defense on fire against Pittsburgh Spirit 16u. With Macy on the rubber, they held them to 1 run the entire game. It came down to the last inning, Irena Santoro tripled to get the tying run in, and Liv Ruperto with the walk off RBI to win the game 2-1!

Congrats ladies! Enjoy next weekend off and we will be back at it in Morgantown for the Backyard Brawl on July 11th!

These ladies entered championship Sunday as the 2 seed. Starting at 8am, taking on Flood City, winning 5-3. Next up was Pittsburgh Spirit 16u, ending in a nail biting score of 4-2.

Headed to the ship against Team All-American. Last inning, 1 runner on 3rd, Noelle hit to get the game winning run in! Great work this weekend ladies!

Onto Akron, OH next weekend for the Buckeye Scout!👻
