Meet Captain Scott Dawley.
A four-time Team USA Playing Captain and top American at Worlds 2024, Scott has been at the forefront of American Speedgolf for more than a decade, leading by example on and off the course.
A former Speedgolf World Record Holder (65 in 42:15), Scott has competed around the world, led the establishment of the International Speedgolf Alliance, and has dedicated countless hours to growing the sport across the United States and beyond.
His leadership isn’t measured only by medals or records, but by the athletes he’s mentored, the events he’s built, and the community he’s helped create.
As Team USA prepares for 2026, we’re proud to have Director Dawley leading the way once again.

A weekend of celebration and competition at Temecula Creek Golf Club & Inn, where hundreds came together to compete, volunteer, host, sponsor, and spectate at this milestone national championship.
From registration and welcome bags to live DJ and complimentary pre and post round PT. From personalized first-tee countdowns to hand-picked finish-line songs. Every detail was designed to make the athletes feel like they were part of something special.
Day 1 was about more than scores and speed. It was about the people, the energy, the heat, and a community coming together to celebrate how far Speedgolf has come - and where it’s going next.
