BladeDepth Ring™ – Tactile Depth-Reference Ring for Dragon Boat Paddles
2. One-Sentence Pitch
A thin, removable pressure-sensitive ring positioned on the paddle shaft just above the blade that delivers a subtle tactile signal through the shaft the moment it reaches the water, giving paddlers an easy, eyes-free reference for consistent blade depth on every stroke.
3. Detailed Description
Ultra-thin, lightweight ring that clips or slides onto the paddle shaft immediately above the blade.
Pressure- or water-contact sensitive design that creates a distinct, subtle tactile pulse or “click” sensation through the shaft when the ring hits the water surface.
Provides an immediate, consistent depth cue so the paddler knows the blade is fully buried without looking down.
Adjustable positioning allows athletes and coaches to test different depths during practice and lock in the ideal reference point for each individual.
Fully removable for race use; intended strictly as a temporary training tool.
Durable, marine-grade materials that withstand repeated wet use and do not alter paddle balance or swing weight in any meaningful way.

HullGuard™ – Retractable Protective Bumper System for Dragon Boats
2. One-Sentence Pitch
A retractable, low-profile bumper system that temporarily attaches along the dock-facing side of a dragon boat, automatically extending soft protection when the boat approaches a dock and retracting tightly against the hull before paddling so it stays completely clear of the water and stroke zone.
3. Detailed Description
Soft, marine-grade bumper sections that mount temporarily along the side of the hull most likely to contact the dock.
Low-profile design that sits flush when retracted and extends only when needed for docking or staging.
Simple automatic or quick-manual extension triggered by proximity or a single switch/lever when the boat slows near a dock.
Fully retracts and locks tight against the hull before paddling begins, creating zero drag or interference with the paddle stroke.
Quick-attach / quick-remove hardware so the system can be used only during practice and race-day loading.
Protects against scrapes, gouges, and cosmetic damage that commonly occur during busy boarding, unloading, and waiting periods.

DragonShade™ – Lightweight Retractable Sunshade for Dragon Boats
2. One-Sentence Pitch
A lightweight, retractable sunshade that temporarily attaches above the centerline of a dragon boat, extending over seated paddlers while the boat is stationary and quickly retracting into a compact waterproof tube before paddling begins so it stays completely clear of the stroke zone.
3. Detailed Description
Slim, marine-grade retractable shade system that mounts temporarily along the centerline (on existing thwarts or dedicated quick-release brackets).
Extends to provide continuous shade over the seated paddlers while the boat is stationary on the water or at the dock.
Retracts fully into a compact, waterproof storage tube in seconds, leaving zero obstruction in the stroke path.
Lightweight materials and low wind-profile design for safe use in typical practice and staging conditions.
Quick-attach / quick-remove hardware so it can be deployed only when needed and stored easily afterward.
Particularly valuable during hot-weather practices, race-day delays, festivals, and adaptive paddling sessions where paddlers may sit exposed for extended periods.

CrewCue™ – Waterproof Wireless Section Coaching System for Dragon Boats
2. One-Sentence Pitch
A waterproof wireless coaching system with small numbered light modules temporarily attached beneath each bench, allowing the coach to quietly signal specific seats or sections with simple light patterns for technique, power, or side-switch cues — without yelling or stopping the entire crew.
3. Detailed Description
Compact, waterproof light modules that clip or magnetically attach beneath each bench (or on the seat edge).
Each module is numbered and highly visible to the paddler in that seat.
Handheld coach controller lets the coach select individual seats, pairs, or full sections and send simple, pre-set light patterns (e.g., flash for technique adjustment, steady for power, pulse for relax, color change for switch sides).
