The 2026 Wrangler Worker Camp is βin the booksβ
Lessons are back on schedule at our new facility and we opened the week with our first camp at the new place!
Candidates in the wrangler worker program take a 12 hour hands on course to begin their training and education needed to help with students at the school
Focus is on safety procedures both on and off the horse, tack safety inspection, horsemanship knowledge, professionalism, respect, dependability, and accountability, as well as becoming a role model
Students take written tests (including first aid)
Each participant prepares a lesson plan that they teach to the class
After the presentations, senior team leaders give their critiques to each team member

All of these angels here were once six of the most amazing partners that I have had the privilege of working with.
Each one here brought their own lesson plans and style of delivery to the table. ππ€£π«£
Iβve always said that the horses are the teachers. I just facilitate the process.
We miss you all. ππ₯°ππ¦ππ

Once in a while, a student will do something in the arena that knocks my socks off and impresses the bejeebers out of me. (My criteria for earning a certificate) π
Each time this happens it makes my day.
This past week I had a group of 3.
These 3 kids have been struggling to gain some control steering and to keep a trot for more than a few seconds.
On Wed I was ready to play referee once again.
Once they got moving I decided to offer up a certificate to anyone who could trot 5 minutes straight without breaking to a walk or stopping.
Welp, I gave out 3 certificates on Wed. (The kids continued trotting after their 5 minutes!)
I had a productive group all working together.
Triple good day for me, and we had some very proud riders,
ππ½ ready for next weeks challenge. ππ¦π
A small amount of incentive can work wonders!!
