I’m grateful to be writing a column on “Bridging the Confidence Gap” and to explore what confidence really asks of us.

Confidence isn’t about always feeling certain. It’s about trusting yourself enough to stay present in your own voice, even when the response isn’t guaranteed.

In this piece, I explore what sits underneath self-doubt, why competence doesn’t always translate into confidence, and what happens when we stop measuring our worth by how others receive us.

Sometimes the question isn’t, “How do I become more confident?”

It’s “What truth am I ready to trust myself enough to say?”

Grateful to share this conversation through the Dallas Gazette News.

How Vulnerability, Perfectionism, and Shame Shape Your Success

Excited to share this powerful conversation with Christina Hathaway, MAS, CPT, CNC on The Mindset Mirror Connection Podcast.

We talked about vulnerability, perfectionism, shame, success, and what happens when we stop performing and start getting honest about what’s really driving us.

One of the biggest reminders from our conversation: you are the answer.
So often, we look outside ourselves for validation, permission, or proof that we’re enough. But the real work is learning to trust ourselves, listen to what’s underneath the mask, and become the person we were always meant to be.

Thank you, Christina, for creating such a thoughtful, honest space for this conversation. I loved where this conversation took us. 🤍
