Still not over our day on the mountain. ⛰️💙

A little time away, a lot of great conversations, and even better company. We’re grateful for the opportunity to slow down, connect, and spend time together as one Y team.

Meet the Speaker: Kaimen Slay

We’re excited to welcome Kaimen Slay to REMLE!
With a decade of experience in youth development, community engagement, and entrepreneurship, Kaimen has dedicated his work to creating programs, partnerships, and opportunities that help young people thrive.

As the Branch Director of the Arizona Diamondbacks Boys & Girls Club in South Phoenix and founder of Game Winner Events, Kaimen brings a relationship-driven approach to leadership and a passion for creating meaningful opportunities within the communities he serves.

A former college basketball player, Kaimen knows firsthand the power of teamwork, perseverance, and creating opportunities rather than waiting for them.

Yesterday, our leadership team headed up to Prescott for our annual mountaintop retreat at Camp Sky-Y | Valley of the Sun YMCA ⛰️💙

A day filled with connection, collaboration, team building, and plenty of moments that remind us just how special it is to be part of the Y family.

Different branches. Different departments. One team. 💙

We’re grateful for the time to come together, recharge, and grow alongside one another.

Safe access to water matters to us! 💦🏊‍♀️ We are grateful to Government Employees Health Association, Inc. (G.E.H.A) for funding that helps make free swim lessons, swim equipment, and waterproof sacks possible for our community. G.E.H.A’s support allows us to continue providing opportunities for youth to build water safety skills, confidence, and comfort around the water while creating a welcoming environment for students of all ages to learn and enjoy the water. Thank you, G.E.H.A, for investing in water safety and helping us make a splash in our community!

Meet the Speaker: Michael Mazzocco

We’re excited to welcome Michael Mazzocco to REMLE!
Michael will lead “The Intersectional Legacy of Multicultural Leadership,” a session exploring the powerful connection between diversity and leadership, and why the two have never truly been separate.

Long before the language of DEI existed, leaders holding multiple marginalized identities were creating coalition-based, relational, and community-centered models of leadership. This session will explore that history while giving participants a practical perspective they can carry into their own leadership journeys and careers today.

Join us September 30–October 1 for REMLE and the opportunity to learn, connect, and grow alongside leaders from across our communities.
