Sparring day at She Kicks!

I’ve been training by myself for a long time. A lot of that has to do with work and other scheduling challenges. For those who don’t know, I am a singer and I love a good German or Italian aria. (Going somewhere with this)
This was my first lesson in the value good technique. After surgery and moving to a place where I haven’t found a voice coach I feel like I am doing some of my better singing now.

Back to karate. I can’t tell you the last time I sparred with anyone. After moving to a place where I haven’t found that space to train I’ve been training by myself for the most part. I realized today that what I learned at Max Scruggs Karate Center was solid. It’s still with me.

I forgot how much I really love this stuff!

Thank you Zion Institute and Zion Early Learning Academy for having me! I think I had their attention for about 6 minutes! 🤣 Not bad for preschoolers!
