2026 SUMMER RISING STARS ⭐🏀
What a game.
Hurricanes vs. Tidal Waves stayed close all night before Tidal Waves pulled away late for the 46–37 win and took home the Rising Star Championship. 💍
AThese women can HOOP.
Thank you to every player who submitted a ballot, showed up, participated, celebrated each other, and took a chance on this community.

The growth of this basketball community has been incredible to watch, and we’re only getting started.

We called them Rising Stars because they’re in their newer to PlayMakers…
Then they went out and played like this. 😮💨🏀
More than 30 women joined our rookie class this season, and watching this community continue to grow has been one of our favorite parts of the summer.
Some have played basketball their entire lives. Some are getting back into the game. Some are finding a new basketball community for the first time.

Halfway through the season and the Rebound Rebels are doing exactly what PlayMakers is all about. 🏀
This team is full of women who also play in our Queen Creek flag football community, and now they’re spending Friday nights together competing in a completely different sport at Arizona Athletic Grounds.

Congratulations to Swish Happens on an incredible season and a well deserved championship.
This team brought competition, chemistry, energy, and a whole lot of love to Tuesday nights in Phoenix.
Enjoy the rings. Enjoy the moment. You earned this one.

A year and a half ago, three of these women helped win our very first PlayMakers basketball championship.
Since then, Swish Happens has continued to battle and supported us league after league.

Queen Creek, Gilbert, Mesa and beyond, this is your chance to join our final Queen Creek Women’s Flag Football season of 2026.

Everyone registers as a free agent, and after our August 30 draft, every player will be placed onto a team.
Returning and veteran players must be registered before the draft, so don’t wait.

And before the season even starts, we give you one more FREE chance to get on the field.
