My Girl Scout journey began with learning, service, and leadership. Years later, those same values inspired me to create a program that helps the next generation explore health, wellness, and careers.

I’m a physical therapist, educator, speaker, and entrepreneur—but those titles only tell part of the story.
I'm someone who loves new experiences, challenges myself to try things outside my comfort zone, and believes life is meant to be lived fully. Whether I'm getting dressed up to celebrate a friend's wedding, pretending to scaling a rock-climbing wall (haha), testing my strength on a punching machine, trying axe throwing for the first time, enjoying amazing food while traveling in Japan, or laughing my way around an ice-skating rink, each experience teaches me something new. The things that make us who we are often have little to do with what's written on our business card. Our hobbies, adventures, relationships, values, and curiosities shape us just as much as our careers.

✨A Full Circle Moment ✨
Today I officially became an Associate Professor of Instruction . The first photo is me as a Temple student — learning, exploring, and trying to figure out where my path would lead.
The second photo is me now as a Faculty Member, advising clubs I was once a member of and working with folks who once taught me.
My journey through academia has included so many chapters: student, adjunct, assistant professor, and now associate professor. Each step came with new lessons, challenges, and opportunities to grow.
As a Black Physical Therapist, Educator & State Chapter President, I don’t take this moment or time for granted. I hope my journey reminds someone else that there is room for you in spaces you may not have seen yourself before.
So I’m taking this month to reflect and share 10 things I’ve learned along the way — about growth, gratitude, curiosity, and becoming.
