How many weeks until race day?

The countdown is on…

Before we added a medal on race day, there was the poster.

Every year we partner with a different local artist each to create a limited edition Philly 10K race poster. We give them one simple prompt: capture the spirit of running and The Philly 10K. Beyond a few design guidelines, the rest is entirely up to them.

The result is one of our favorite race traditions and we’re excited to share this year’s poster, designed by Monica O, with y’all.

Monica O is a South Philly designer and illustrator. Running has become one of her favorite ways to experience the city, one weird mile at a time. Between potholes, rogue geese, and the oddly comforting smell of a burning trash can in the winter, every run feels a little wild. This year’s poster celebrates the grit, humor, and unpredictability that make running in Philly and being a sports fan such a unique experience.

Posters are available as an add-on during registration and we will have a limited number available for purchase at the Hoka Kickoff Party (info about the party coming soon)!
