This weekend the Team went to Maryland and competed in the WKA tournament.
First, we would like to say how well ran it was this year!! Very organized, full staffed and calm. Thank you!!
This group has been grinding for 8 weeks straight and it was amazing to watch them put it all out there this weekend.
Wins/losses….it’s all about listening, not giving up and being coachable. Every single athlete punched up and showed their heart this weekend.
We know what we’re good at and we know what we need to get better at. Thank you to all the gyms that we shared the ring with this weekend ❤️

This is Rio, he’s one of our Youth Muay Thai competitors. Unfortunately Rio didn’t get a match-up at WKA nationals this weekend. So, here’s a minute of him play sparring with Handsome Mike. Also, Rio just got a job at 8 Limbs as an assistant Coach in our Youth Program. LETS GO RIO!

On September 12, Freedom Fighter Promotions returns to the “city of brotherly love” with Freedom 42 at the legendary 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. Fight fans prepare yourselves for a historic event of Muay Thai as the best meet inside the Freedom ring.
Freedom 42 brings to you Matt Pinkney vs Isaac Udogwu in a professional Muay Thai 81kg light heavyweight bout.
Both fighters will be making their pro debut on Freedom 42. Philly’s very own, Matthew Pinkney , represents 8 Limbs Academy in Philadelphia. His opponent, Isaac Udogwu , represent Nik Rodriguez in South Carolina. Freedom 42 is shaping out to be an insane card filled with some of the biggest fights to hit Philly. And Matt and Isaac is not going to be a fight you want to blink in.
