Walking into a gym for the first time is intimidating.

We know it.

You don’t know where to go. You don’t know what equipment to use. You wonder if everyone is watching you or if you’re doing something wrong.

The truth is…

Almost 90% of the people who call Warhorse home today walked through our doors feeling exactly the same way.

They were nervous.
They were unsure.
They had never followed a strength program before.

Today, they’re some of the strongest people in our community.

They’ve built confidence.
They’ve made lifelong friends.
They’ve improved their health.
They’ve discovered that strength training isn’t just about lifting weights—it’s about becoming the kind of person who shows up for themselves.

That’s why we’re launching Strength 101.

A six-week beginner strength program designed specifically for people who have never trained before.

No guessing.
No trying to keep up in a class that feels overwhelming.
No wondering if you’re doing it right.

Just professional coaching, a supportive group of people starting the same journey as you, and a step-by-step plan that teaches you how to strength train for life.

If you’ve been thinking about joining a gym but intimidation has been holding you back...

This is your invitation.

You don’t have to be fit to start.

You just have to be willing to walk through the door.

We’ll take care of the rest.

Strength 101 is coming soon.

Come learn with us. Come grow with us. Come discover what you’re capable of.

We’ve heard it all.

StrongHer is our women’s only strength training class.

Not a Pilates class. Not a toning circuit. Not a vibe-only workout with no real programming.

Squats. Deadlifts. Presses. Coaches who actually coach.

This is where you find out what your body is actually capable of — and you do it alongside a group of women who will know your name, cheer your PRs, and show up the same time you do every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

No experience needed. No idea what you’re doing? Perfect. That’s literally what we’re here for.

StrongHer meets at our Northern Liberties location — small group, real coaching, and a community that makes it genuinely hard to skip.

We are excited to welcome longtime friend, lifter, and all-around great human Joe Jackson to team WHBC. Learn more below ⬇️

Hey yo *Razor Ramon voice*

My name is Joe, and after years of working with Warhorse for their powerlifting meets, spotting and loading, I’m pumped to be joining the Warhorse family as a coach.

I’m from the Delco area, and I’ve been in the fitness world for over a decade and in the powerlifting space for 7 years now. I started my journey in fitness to lose weight and combat depression and body image issues — I was 350 lbs and needed a change. I was able to lose 100 lbs with strength and conditioning training before I discovered powerlifting, where I’ve been focused ever since. Over the past 4 years I’ve been blessed to compete at some of the biggest competitions, like the American Pro, Ghost Clash, and Rumble.

As a coach, I believe in making sure each and every athlete feels seen and heard in their goals and ambitions, and that they feel supported every step of the way. With that mentality, I’ve been able to help people of all ages, young and old, from all different walks of life — including people on the spectrum, people recovering from injuries, people looking to compete in strength sports, and people who found the gym just to battle through mental hardship or tough times in their day-to-day life.

The gym saved me from a dark space and path I was heading towards, and my passion for coaching stems from wanting to help others who might be going through what I was back then — showing them that with a little encouragement and guidance, they can achieve anything they set their mind to.

We are excited to welcome to team WHBC! Learn more about our newest coach ⬇️

What up! My name is Kelly and I’m originally from Bucks County. I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 10 years.
Growing up as the youngest of 4, my mom had us swimming before we were walking! I’ve played numerous sports from field hockey to ice hockey.

In my early 20s I decided to move across the world to Australia and become an au pair. From there I moved to Spain and am now back to my home base of Philly.

Witnessing people get stronger, including myself, is so frickin’ amazing! When I see someone move weight they never thought they could before, I get giddy with excitement!

This is what keeps me thriving in this industry- it never gets boring.

Outside of the gym, you can catch me walking my current foster dog, at a restaurant/bar enjoying a pint and a burger, at a live show or planning my next trip!

Training looks different for everybody. Your program, your goals, your timeline—all different.

But the standard doesn’t change: train hard, stay consistent, move with intention.
