21st Ward Junior Baseball & Softball League

Our 12U Red team just returned from Dreams Park in Cooperstown and we would like to thank everyone who supported the team’s journey this year! Your generosity in our fundraisers and positive cheers for the kids through the season mean the world to our organization. We are so proud of how hard this team worked and happy to hear how much fun they had while in Cooperstown. Hitting a home run in Dreams Park is a big highlight for a young Rebel, and the team launched 10 - shouting huge congrats to Harrison Lawler (4 HRs), Jake Trainor (2 HRs), Beckett Henry (2 HRs), AJ Polisi (HR), and Will Lockard (HR) for going yard while at Dreams Park! Special thanks to our coaches and parents and to our Umpire, Eddie 'Bo' Peters, who appeared two weeks at Dreams Park for us this summer!

Tomorrow our 12U Red team is off to Dreams Park in Cooperstown, NY to compete amongst 104 teams from all over the US (and one from Australia we heard!) We wish this great group of young men good luck and a week full of spirited competition, lots of laughs and lifelong memories with their friends. Congratulations 10U Blue! Undefeated weekend, highlighted by three playoff wins today including a walk-off championship win, 5-4 over Cherry Hill National to capture the Mud Hen Wildwood Beach Baseball Tournament 🏆! This is the 4th time a Rebels team has won🥇 the Wildwood Beach Baseball Tournament, and our first since 2023. Congrats players and coaches! 💙⚾️❤️ ⛱️🌊🎢

Shout out to our 9U Rebels who played very well this weekend and finished as the 🥈runner-up in the Mud Hen Wildwood Beach Baseball Tournament, falling 5-2 to the NJ Gold Sox in the championship game. Great job players and coaches. 💙⚾️❤️

Walk off Winner!! 10s win it in the bottom of the 6th on a walk off drive to the gap to break a 4-4 tie, winning the Mud Hen Wildwood ⛱️⚾️ Tournament Championship 🏆. Pics to come soon. Congrats!!! 💙⚾️❤️

It is a scorcher and the Rebels continue to bring the 🔥🔥 to the 🏖️. Both 9U and 10U Blue won their semifinal matchups to advance to this afternoon’s championship games at the Wildwood Beach Baseball Tournament. The 10s won a tight back and forth affair over the Surfside Sluggers 8-6 and will play Cherry Hill National in the championship. It took the 9s extra innings, handing the SJ Titans just their 4th loss in 30 games. The 9s will play the NJ Gold Sox in the championship game at 3:15. Great job Rebels! Bring those 🏆🏆 home! 💙⚾️❤️

10U Blue wins their quarterfinal matchup with Brad Mar Pine 10-1 at the Wildwood 🏖️🌊⚾️ Tournament. They will play in the semis at 12:45 vs the winner of the 2/7 seed game. 9U also has a 12:45pm first pitch in the semis vs SJ Titans. Go Rebels! 💙⚾️❤️

It’s playoff day on the beach⛱️🌊. The 10s are the 3 seed and will get started in the quarterfinals at 10:15am. The 9s won their first playoff game yesterday afternoon to advance to the semifinals at 12:45pm today. Go Rebels! 💙⚾️❤️

9U gets the quarterfinal win on the ⛱️🌊. Down 5-0, then 5-3, team battled back in the last inning for a 9-6 win over the Surfside Sluggers. The team advances to tomorrow’s semis of the Wildwood Beach Baseball Tournament at 12:45pm vs SJ Titans. Go Rebels 💙⚾️❤️

At the Wildwood ⛱️🌊⚾️ Tournament, 10U Blue trailed Cherry Hill National 4-0 and battled back with 6 unanswered runs, highlighted by a 5-run two out rally in the bottom of the 5th. Great job! The team sits at 2-0 and will await seeding for tomorrow’s playoff round. 9U is 1-1 and takes the field for single elimination bracket play at 3:15pm today vs Surfside Sluggers. Go Rebels! 💙⚾️❤️
