It’s almost time.. sign ups for our 3rd annual Iron Maiden go up Wednesday 8/12 at 6pm est.

2 full marathons, one Premier, one Standard. Each player competes in both, plus playoffs. An endurance race not meant for the faint of heart.

Exclusively available to women, non-binary, or individuals who identify as female. Sign up and have some fun!

Congratulations to Curtis, aka “Warner” for winning the coveted Green Jacket at Baltimore’s Urban Open, hosted by Urban Axes!! Curtis has worked at this for years, having multiple finishes at the Open in the top 8, if not the top 4.

He joins fellow Chopper’s throwers/alumni Joey the Hat and Ziggy Stardust (pictured here) and Uncle Gritty in the ranks of the 8 to win this tournament. Also worth mentioning is Kump, the first Philly area thrower to win, making 5 out 8 winners from Chopper’s and/or Urban Axes Philly.

Congrats, Warner! We’re so happy for you, and your newly acquired Jacket. Can’t wait to see you at the 2026 Choptober Challenge!

This weekend we hosted our 4th annual Pride Fundraiser. We had generous donations from several axe makers, creating amazing works of art. Prize baskets from community members all over. And with the help of our community, near and far, we broke last years donation! Supporting asylumpridehouse, we were able to raise over $3,500 to help support the services they offer for asylum-seeking immigrants within the LGBTQ+ community. Thank you to our league members who helped set up this event, from start to finish. Your support for such an important event means everything, and this event wouldn’t be the same without you. Thank you all for your support, and we hope to see you soon.
