Use pretax dollars to improve your health! Our members work with Truemed to utilize their HSA and FSA funds , saving around 30% on their CFR memberships.
Fitness is medicine. And this is how we shift from being reactive - to being proactive.
Instead of using your pre tax health savings accounts for bottles of medicine and prescriptions that treat symptoms, you can now use the money to work on the root causes.
Get moving. Get strong. Get healthy.

CrossFit Renaissance
Helping busy motivated individuals get fit and healthy since 2009. Coaching+Community=Results
CrossFit Renaissance has been a leader in fitness and nutrition since 2009 in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia. Our coaches are at the top of their game and know how to bring the best out of our members. They are experts at making the Workout of the Day right for each client in the class! CFR will provide the way, BUT you've got to show up and do the WORK!
Thank you to our coaches, members and community sponsors who helped us raise $2,250 for Savage Sisters this month.
On August 1, participants rowed 100,000 meters and over the past 2 weeks CFR members rowed an additional 150,000 meters to get us to goal.
250,000 meters rowed to raise awareness and donations for this local cause that has affected so many families in our neighborhood.
It has been our pleasure to learn more about Savage Sisters Recovery and to give them a small spotlight over the past few weeks.
Please head to their page to learn more and to donate to support their work.
Ladies - have you considered how amazing it is to feel strong and capable?
Look beyond the weight on the bar.
Check out their smiles๐ Thereโs a twinkle in their eye.
Look behind them at their friends and peers cheering them on. ๐
From the outside looking in, we know it may look intimidating.
But any one of the women in our gym would say itโs the best thing they do for themselves.
Show up for yourself and discover what you are capable of!

The confidence you will discover when you begin to train with us will change your life.
But to get there you have to take that first uncertain, hopeful step and start.
Here is the path:
1๏ธโฃ Talk to one of our coaches about what you want to achieve. Itโs a conversation not a hard sale.
2๏ธโฃ Do your homework. If you are unsure and the people in your life tell you itโs too hard, check out our reviews from real members. On our website homepage and also on Google.
3๏ธโฃ Go to our blog and read about real Port Richmond neighbors who we just like you - needing a change, a beginner, busy - who took that hopeful step and never looked back.
4๏ธโฃ Start to get used to telling yourself you can do hard things. Today itโs a mantra. Tomorrow itโs belief.
Thatโs how it works.
Confidence is earned through showing up consistently and trusting the process. You will discover you are capable. And that feels AMAZING๐ฅ

Making dietary changes can sometimes feel more daunting than starting a new fitness program!
What should I eat?
How should I prepare it?
How do I fit in meal prep?
Are common questions that we hear.
Performance Meal Prep is a preferred vendor for multiple reasons. The quality, taste, consistency and convenience of their meals and service is top notch.
Their fresh meal prep service supports the physical and health goals of our clients. Helping them eat more nutritious, balanced foods more often. For around the same price as a meal from Wawa you can feel good that your meal will move you closer to your goals, not farther away from them.
We are a Performance Meal Prep pick up location - for both members and Port Richmond neighbors.
See our link in bio and head to their website check out their tasty menu!

Progress isnโt always a straight line.
Sometimes life asks you to shift your priorities. You take a step back, rebuild, and start again. That doesnโt mean youโre falling behindโit means your journey has a new chapter.
Two years after becoming a mom, Jillian is not just getting her strength and skills backโฆ sheโs now surpassing her former personal bests!
One of the things we love most about CrossFit is that it meets you where you are. Whether youโre coming back after having a baby, recovering from an injury, or simply returning after time away, every workout can be adjusted to match your current abilities while still moving you toward your goals.
Fitness isnโt about being perfect. Itโs about showing up, staying consistent, and trusting that small steps add up over time.
To all the moms out there: your timeline is your own. Keep going. Your strongest days may still be ahead of you. ๐
One of the biggest misconceptions about strength training is that you should always lift light โjust to be safe.โ
The truth? We want you lifting with good form, at a weight thatโs appropriate for you, and challenging yourself over time.
We donโt always lift heavy, but when we do heavy the focus is always:
โ
Good technique first.
โ
Relative to your current ability.
โ
Progressively challenging as you get stronger.
Why does that matter?
๐ช 1. Your body only adapts when itโs challenged. If the weight never changes, your strength wonโt either.
๐ฆด 2. Strength protects you for life. Building muscle and bone density helps you stay capable, independent, and resilient as you age.
๐ 3. Doing hard things builds confidence. Every new PR reminds you that youโre capable of more than you thought.
The goal isnโt to lift the heaviest weight in the room.
The goal is to lift a little more than you could yesterdayโsafely, consistently, and with great coaching.
Thatโs how real progress happens.
