In our most recent edition of our Philly Classics series, we sat down with metalsmith John Rais, the designer and sculptor behind the Philadelphia Cycling Classic trophy.
His workhas appeared in the National Ornamental Metals Museum, the Frankl Lloyd Wright home, and nationwide publications like American Craft.
Now, he turns his talents to creating something thatâs more than just a beautiful design. The trophy represents the legacy of the race, the passion and grit of the cyclists competing, and the thrill of victory.
