The University of Pennsylvania Class of 1923 Ice Skating Rink is located on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. 3130 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA
We do not post hours as our hours vary for different activities that we host. We have college and high school ice hockey games, youth ice hockey games, private groups of skaters and/or hockey clubs, the figure skating club, and of course our public session featuring recreational skating, freestyle, and open hockey. We're back! ❄️ The Penn Ice Rink is open. Here's our summer schedule:
⛸️ Public Skating
Monday & Wednesday 4:15–5:45 PM
Sunday 1–2:30 PM
🌀 Freestyle
Tuesday & Thursday 4:15–5:15 PM
Sunday 11:45 AM–12:45 PM (through August 2)
🏒 Public Hockey (all skill levels)
Friday 7:30–9 AM
No sessions July 3 or July 5

Our Summer Hockey League starts Tuesday, and we’ve got individual roster spots open if you’re ready to jump into the mix.
Three skill divisions (B, C+, C), 10 games + playoffs, and no Friday or Saturday games before Labor Day. Just show up, play hard, and enjoy ice time. Claim your spot:
