Quite the bridge skate today, saw lots of old friends and I think we all made it back.
Crossing the Ben Franklin was a challenge.
Due to possible early afternoon rain Iβm moving tomorrowβs Saturday skate up to 10:00. Push off at 10:20
*Sat Skate to Camden - 7/11/26 10am
Hi folks,
It's the 100 year anniversary of the Ben Franklin Bridge and to celebrate it will be closed to cars tomorrow from 10-2:30 but open for all others.
Come on out and enjoy the rare opportunity to cross the roadway on skates... I'm pretty sure we haven't done this since the Pope visited in 2015!!!
We will skate over to Camden, check out the festivities a bit and tool around on the Jersey side a bit before returning.
This will be roughly 16mi with two half mile gradual hills over the bridge.
Let's do another meetup at the TOP of the Art Museum steps.
Launch time at 10:20
See you there,
Eric

The temperatures have finally retreated! π‘οΈ
Tonight we'll be skating in the mid-70s with comfortable summer weatherβjust about perfect for an evening roll through the city.
π Important: We're still meeting at the TOP of the Rocky Steps. The stage at the base of the steps hasn't been fully cleared following the July 4th festivities, so please head to the top to meet the group.
β½ FIFA Fan Fest parking restrictions remain in effect through Sunday, July 19. There is limited parking around the Art Museum and Lemon Hill. Please allow yourself a little extra travel time.
We'll skate at our usual Tuesday Night pace, so come out and enjoy a beautiful evening with the crew.
