St. Joe’s Prep alum Alijah Turner (ᴍᴜᴅ ʙᴏʏ  ), now a wide receiver at Stonehill College, got a firsthand experience at Mvmnt Center.

From recovery to performance, Alijah put the facility to the test — and his verdict was simple: ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT.

When you’re putting in the work on the field, recovery has to be part of the process. 🏈

If you’re training at a high level, recovery isn’t optional. It’s the work.

The MVMNT recovery suite is built for people who take performance seriously.

Sauna + Cold Plunge to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and prime your body for what’s next. Shiftwave - whole body vibration paired with meditation - to sharpen mental focus and bring your nervous system back to baseline. Red Light Therapy to accelerate recovery at the cellular level and keep your body performing at its best.

This isn’t a spa day. It’s protocol.

The athletes who recover well are the ones who train consistently. Consistency is where real performance lives.

The NCAA has officially changed the structure of college athletics with a new eligibility model.

Today’s NoLackin Report breaks down what it means for recruiting, transfers, NIL, and athletes across the country.
https://www.nolackinlifestylellc.com/post/ncaa-age-based-eligibility-model-recruiting-transfer-portal

Five Seasons Maximum
Within that five-year window:
You can compete in up to five seasons
There is no longer traditional redshirt separation as a strategic tool
Sitting out years does NOT stop the clock
This removes one of the biggest roster management tools coaches used for decades.
Redshirts and Waivers Are Gone (Mostly)
Under the new model:
Standard redshirts are eliminated
Most hardship waivers are removed
Exceptions are limited to major life events (ex: military service, pregnancy, religious missions)

This is where the real conversation is.
The Class of 2022:
entered under the OLD eligibility structure
played through traditional 4-in-5 rules
experienced the early transfer portal era
exhausted eligibility right before full system stabilization
Now under the new model:
Future athletes benefit from:
clearer timelines
structured roster development
longer retention planning
But 2022 players:
do NOT get retroactive advantages
do NOT get eligibility resets
exit before the system stabilizes

The roster becomes more predictable but tighter
Programs can now project:
exactly how long players stay
when scholarships open
when roster congestion happens
But the tradeoff:
Fewer openings each year for incoming recruits.

Fewer roster spots open annually
Because players stay longer, fewer scholarships cycle open.
More competition per portal entry
The portal doesn’t shrink—it tightens:
More athletes entering
Fewer available landing spots
Higher standards for selection
3. Experience > potential
Coaches will increasingly choose:
proven college production
older transfers
system-ready players
Over:
raw high school upside
