Adult Tap Classes Return to THDS!

After a nice summer break, the Adult Tap Class is making its way back to the dance floor. Classes will begin on Saturday, October 3rd at 12:00 pm.

Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sound of one's tap shoes hitting the floor as a percussive instrument. As such, it is also commonly considered to be a form of music. In these classes, students will explore the movements and rhythms of Tap Dance, while building a strong foundation in this fun dance genre.

Fall Registration Happening Now!

Top Hat Dance Studio is now accepting registration for the 2026-2027 season. All Youth Program Classes will now be held at Spotlight Dance Center, located at 80 Second Street Pike in Huntingdon Valley. We thank the ownership of Spotlight Dance Center for welcoming us into their studio and providing us with a new home to facilitate our program. We are confident that you will be just as excited about the new space as we are.

The class schedule will not change from last season's schedule. There will, however, be a few procedural changes moving forward. All classes will be run through Top Hat Dance Studio and our payment as it has been in the past. Tuition payments may still be made as a one-time payment, three payments or a monthly payment plan. To streamline our payment and accounting system, we are requiring all students that opt for either the three-payment plan or the monthly payment plan to secure a credit or debit card on file to be charged accordingly through autopay. We will assist you in setting this up upon registration.

We are asking ALL students to register in advance of the first class. We need to have a clear enrollment manifest to ensure that we are being mindful of the space needed to run the program.

The past two months of the transition have been going brilliantly, and we are excited to now have the Youth Program running at full capacity as well.

Special Needs Dance Class Resume
September 29!

As we come to the last few weeks of summer, it is time to get ready for fall dance classes. The Special Needs Dance Class will resume on Tuesday, September 29th at 6:30 pm. Many parents have asked for a "weeknight" class instead of the weekend class time we previously offered. We
delivered. We look forward to seeing all of you again this fall.

The class will be held at Top Hat Dance Studio at La Luna, located at 4010 New Falls Road in Bristol, PA.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS FORTHCOMING!!
A NEW BEGINNING!

It has been a fast two months since we closed our Bustleton location and we have been hard at work putting plans together for each of our programs. Our hustle program and private lessons have been up and running through the summer and are doing very well. In addition, we have been revamping our website, improving our communications and
negotiating schedules in our new locations. Our goal was to have a soft, gradual transition so that everything was implemented smoothly. We want to thank both La Luna Dance Studio and Universal Dance Center for welcoming us and ensuring that our dancers felt at home in our new homes.

There will be further emails being released in the coming days. We have a great deal of news to share with all of you. Throughout the coming months we will continue to add other programs back to our schedule and before long all of our operations will be in place. Be sure to stay tuned and check your emails regularly to stay up-to-date on the latest developments. We thank all of you for your patience, kindness and support as we contiue offering quality dance education for the Top Hat Family.
