We've been having so much fun at Tarken this summer that we forgot to post!

Our campers had an amazing time during our Craft NOW Philadelphia Art Camp, taking trips to the African American Museum, Clay Studio, the Fabric Workshop, and more.

They designed their own bucket hats, created clay projects, and explored their creativity all week long.

The first week of our six-week Summer Camp has been just as exciting! Campers enjoyed bowling, swimming at Max Myers Pool, drawing, board games, building with Jenga (definitely a camp favorite!), soccer, basketball, volleyball, cooling off in our sprinklers, playing on the playground, and so much more.

We're looking forward to another fun-filled week at Tarken! 🏊‍♀️ 🏀 🎨 🏐 🛝 ⚽️ ♟️

Please note that if you have not completed registration and have not spoken with a staff member who has confirmed your child’s spot, your child will not be able to stay for camp.

We're thrilled to announce our inaugural home game, marking the beginning of a life-changing morning of youth baseball that will uplift and energize our community for years to come.

Great weekend of baseball at Tarken! ⚾️

We were proud to host our first home games in the Octavius Catto League, featuring matchups between Tarken vs. Clemente and Athletic vs. Wister.

It was so much fun spending the day with our friends from Clemente, Wister, and Athletic—great energy, great sportsmanship, and bringing our communities together.

Thank you to all of the parents, coaches, staff, and of course the kids who make days like this possible. We’re excited to be a part of it!

In partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, this weeklong art camp gives participants the opportunity to explore creativity through hands-on projects, learn from teaching artists, and take part in off-site art experiences.
