I’m running an active shooter in a school simulation using the immersive simulator at GPS Gun Range. This system includes 1,000+ scenarios and games, many of which don’t involve firing a weapon at all, placing the focus on decision-making, communication, and de-escalation rather than marksmanship alone.

Scenarios can change instantly—subjects may comply, flee, escalate, or turn out to be non-threats—forcing students to process stress, uncertainty, and rapidly changing conditions just like the real world.
