Swingadelphia Socials are back this July for our very first Blues Night! 🎷

Featuring visiting guest instructors: WSDC All Stars Mara Flores and Brandon Julian! We’ve got two levels of workshops and all night social dancing, with a special Blues Room hour with DJ Colleen from 10-11pm in our second studio space!

💃 “Swing & Swivel to Swung Music” Join Mara & Brandon for a Level 2-3 lesson! If swung music feels intimidating or confusing, this class is for you. Build your confidence and explore the rhythms and movements that make dancing to swung music feel effortless, expressive and fun on the social floor. This class requires mastery of WCS basics and significant social dancing experience.

🕺”Get Off With a Hitch” If you’re still new to the world of blues music, we’ve got an All Levels lesson with our resident pro instructors Colleen & Sat! This class will introduce you to the basics of blues styling technique and build up the foundation. Familiarity with WCS basics is expected for this class.

🎵 For the first time, we’ve got a second floor of dancing going with a special Blues Room with DJ Colleen from 10pm-11pm. Our regular social dance on the main floor will continue from 9pm-12mn with tunes from DJ Stef!

Just a heads up -- our team will be attending Liberty Swing in New Brunswick, NJ on the last weekend of June so there will be no Swingadelphia this month! But don't worry, we'll be back kicking and swinging in July! 💃

We’ve got SO MANY fun things planned for our upcoming event on May 30th, that we’ve put together this little slide deck to make sure you don’t miss any details!

This event will feature our guest instructor, WSDC All Star Emily Hung, a partnered workshop with our resident pros, Aaron & Colleen, as well as a super fun, low-pressure, Open Division Strictly Swing Mini-Comp! Swipe for more details!

💃 Join Emily for an All-Levels Lesson “Groove It To The Music”. No partner required, knowledge of West Coast Swing basics is encouraged to make the most of this class.

🕺 For the more adventurous dancers, join our resident instructors, Aaron and Colleen for “Rides & Tricks”. This is a Level 2-3 class and requires mastery of WCS basics and being comfortable with weight sharing moves. You are required to bring your own partner as there will be no rotations in this class.

👯 Strictly Swing Battles: put your partnership to the test and sign up with a friend to join our very first mini-competition! This is NOT a pointed competition and is entirely for fun! Limited sign up to 8 couples total. Open divisions, no competition experience required, but higher level dancers cannot dance together (defined by WSDC Advanced or higher). Comp will be in battle bracket style during the announcement break at 10PM, the audience decides the winners! $10 per couple, sign up ➡️ https://linktr.ee/swingadelphia
