Guest Teacher Intensive: Sebastian Garcia (Bronx, NY)(He/Him) began his formal dance training at the Harlem School of the Arts under the direction of Aubrey Lynch. He was later accepted into the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School under the direction of Cynthia Harvey. He is also a recipient of the En Avant Award from 2017-2018, which allowed him to work with choreographers such as Jessica Lang and Alexei Ratmansky. Sebastian continued his training at the Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia under the direction of Bo and Stephanie Spassoff (where he was a taught by SunMi Ballet Director, SunMi Cho). Sebastian has also danced for the Black Iris Project and has worked on Broadway projects with the Lyric Opera of Chicago & Carnegie Hall. He previously danced as a member of the Collage Dance Collective for 4 seasons, performing works by Wayne McGregor, George Balanchine, Christopher Huggins, Durante Verzola, Sandra Holloway, and Nacho Nuato. He is currently a member with the Alvin Aliey American Dance Theater.

We are beyond thrilled to welcome back a very special familiar face for our Turns & Extensions Ballet Intensive this June 26th–28th! 🌟

Join us in welcoming guest teacher Lily Munson, an apprentice with the Grand Rapids Ballet (and former dancer with Orlando Ballet II)!

Lily’s journey is incredibly close to our hearts—she began training under our Director, SunMi Cho, when she was just 10 years old at The Rock School for Dance Education. Watching her grow from a dedicated young student into a stunning professional with breathtaking lines and an even more beautiful spirit has been an absolute joy.
