It ran in the family until it ran into you ✨❤️
For single moms raising kids in this generation, there are so many tools and resources available to help us break through those toxic patterns…
I'm so grateful for that!
I've been through years of therapy, read all the books and started disciplining myself to take on healthier habits but it was my mentors and coaches that have impacted my life the most.
🙏🏽 I thank God for them every day (seriously)
That (along with my deep love for people) is the main reason why I chose to start giving back and helping single moms get past their trauma so they can be confident in selecting their next partner.
So if you're still working on breaking through those patterns and need some help, I would love to pour everything I have into you to make that happen.
Just because we CAN do life alone, doesn't mean we SHOULD.
Follow me for more resources on how to heal past traumas and give your children a better life ♥️

▪️Ready to SHIFT?
If I could go back, I’d start here ⏬
These aren’t lessons I found in a quick search. They’re things I’ve learned the hard way, practiced in real life, and had to learn MORE THAN ONCE.
It’s where FAITH MEETS SCIENCE—and where everything starts making sense.
You just have to start. ❤️
1️⃣ LEARN DETACHMENT
You are not your emotions, circumstances, beliefs, body, job, or possessions. Those things can change. When you stop making them your identity, you give yourself room to GROW.
2️⃣ TAKE OWNERSHIP OF YOUR EMOTIONS
Other people can trigger emotions, but you still get to decide what you do with them. Sometimes the lesson is healing. Sometimes it’s a BOUNDARY. Either way, your emotions are yours to process.
3️⃣ LEARN TO SET BOUNDARIES
A boundary is like a line on the road. It protects you AND others. People can’t respect a line they don’t know exists. SAY THE LINE OUT LOUD.
4️⃣ CREATE A SELF-CARE ROUTINE
Learn what actually fuels YOU. What works for someone else may not work for you. This will give you the energy to handle everything life in the 21st century asks of you.
5️⃣ PRACTICE POSITIVITY
This isn’t about pretending life is perfect. It’s about choosing where you focus. Philippians 4:8 reminds us to focus on what is good and worthy of praise. YOUR FOCUS MATTERS.
6️⃣ MAKE FEAR YOUR FRIEND
Fear doesn’t always mean STOP. Sometimes it means GROW. When you lean into the things that scare you, you often discover that the life you wanted was waiting on the other side.
7️⃣ BE YOUR OWN BEST FRIEND
Listen to the way you talk to yourself. Would you speak to someone you love that way? Your words shape your thoughts, so SPEAK LIFE OVER YOURSELF—especially when you don’t feel like it.
8️⃣ TRUST THAT IT’S WORKING OUT
My hardest seasons made me stronger. My best seasons taught me gratitude. BOTH MATTER. You may not understand the season you’re in yet, but you can choose to believe it’s shaping you for something greater.
You don’t have to master all 8 today.
JUST START WITH ONE. ❤️

✨ 99% of our fears never come true.
As a species, we have evolved.
Fear isn't always an indicator of danger. Not like it used to be.
More likely, the fear you are experiencing means you're stepping into the unknown.
In order to evolve, we must embrace the unknown.
Growth can happen in big ways and it can happen in small ways.
If you are looking to dramatically change your life circumstances, then it's the thing you fear MOST that you NEED to do to grow to the next level.
Whatever that means for you.
For single moms who have experienced trauma, that's likely stepping into a new relationship.
Just because it scares you, doesn't mean you shouldn't do it.
I would even argue the opposite is true.
If something scares you, then you MUST do it!
Every time, this has helped me reach the next level of success for whatever area of life that I am focused on.
If you're too scared to talk about your past..
Talk about it.
If you're too scared to say what's really on your mind..
Say it.
If you're too scared to dream of a bigger life for fear that it will never happen…
Write down EVERY DESIRE that is currently in your heart.♥️
If you're too afraid that you'll make the same mistakes over again..
You won't.
Fear keeps you where you are.
Leaning into fear takes you to where you are MEANT TO BE.
Your desires were placed on your heart for a reason.
When fear comes up as you pursue them, that just means you're on the right track!
KEEP GOING!
If you're reading this, this message was meant for YOU…today.
You are being called to MORE.
Take action…NOW!
You know the next step you need to take.
I don't need to tell you that.
But I can walk the path with you so you don't have to do it alone.
For more information on how I can support you in your growth, DM me the word GROWTH and let's do this together ♥️
Sometimes we just need a little a reminder of how strong we are ♥️
We admire you because we can see the work you're putting in day in and day out.
You make my life better simply by being in it.
How you live does not go without notice.
We can sometimes forget our uniqueness because we're just so busy trying to handle everything and just “do the thing”.
We think “does any of this even make a difference?”
It does.
What you do matters.
I see the impact you have on others.
It's powerful.
Thank you…for just being you.
If someone comes to your mind while reading this, send it to her - let her know that she matters ♥️
Grieving a shared life..
I recently lost my cat, Pitters, after 17 years together. She was 19, and while I knew her time would come, I still had to GRIEVE.
But losing a RELATIONSHIP is different.
You often have to grieve while the other person is still alive—and you're stuck wondering, “Is this REALLY over?”
That uncertainty can be brutal.
JOURNALING has helped me find clarity instead of staying trapped in the same thoughts.
Here are 5 prompts I use:
1️⃣ ASSUME THIS IS THE END and describe, What happened?
Write in the past tense: “We were.” “I loved.”
✨ Even if you're not ready to move on, something about this relationship HAS ended. Writing it down helps your brain process what happened.
2️⃣ How do you feel about it, and WHY?
Don't stop at “I'm angry” or “I'm sad.”
✨ Ask WHY. The deeper you go, the more you understand what you're actually grieving.
3️⃣ What warning signs might you have missed?
Most relationships don't end because of ONE moment.
✨ Look at the bigger picture. This isn't about blaming yourself. It's about learning to recognize patterns.
4️⃣ Who were you when it began, and how have you grown?
✨ NO TIME IS WASTED. Even painful relationships can teach you something about yourself, your needs, and your strength.
5️⃣ What space did this relationship leave behind?
Then ask: “How can I fill that space in a HEALTHIER way?”
✨ Sometimes relationships fill spaces meant for growth, purpose, friendships, or self-love.
And here's why I believe journaling works so well:
EVERY WORD YOU WRITE FORCES YOU TO MAKE A DECISION about what you believe, feel, and accept.
It can help stop the endless second-guessing.
You stop romanticizing “what could have been” and start seeing “what REALLY was.”
And remember: YOUR TRUTH IS YOUR TRUTH.
No one else gets to tell you how you “should” feel about your loss.
For me, I'd rather spend a few hours finding peace with my present than MONTHS replaying the same thoughts.
⏬ Start journaling sooner rather than later. Your clarity is worth it.

✨ No one talks about this part of healing. ✨
During therapy, while working through the trauma I experienced during pregnancy, my therapist helped me see something I hadn't fully understood:
I was also grieving the loss of a relationship.
▪️ We had been friends for 8 years.
When I became pregnant, everything changed. I loved him, so I was shocked by how I was treated during pregnancy and after giving birth.
I was so deep in the experience that I couldn't see the truth: he didn't have the capacity for empathy.
▪️ Trauma and grief are different.
Trauma is often easier to recognize.
Grief can be harder.
How can you grieve someone who hurt you?
Because you loved them.
You can know someone wasn't good for you and still miss who they were to you.
Both can be true.
▪️ You may be grieving more than the person.
I had to grieve our relationship, but I also had to grieve the version of myself I was with him.
And that was painful.
▪️ Ask yourself what the relationship taught you.
What need was that relationship fulfilling?
How can you meet that need in a healthier way?
I believe God can use even painful relationships to teach us something we need to learn before entering healthier ones.
▪️ Then, grieve.
Accept that they were part of your story.
Accept that you didn't learn the lesson sooner.
And accept yourself. ♥️
You don't have to shame yourself for staying.
You don't have to hate them to move forward.
You just have to be willing to learn, grow, and evolve.
✨ Grieving is a season, not a lifestyle.
Your past relationship can be part of your story without being part of your future.
If this spoke to you, share it with another woman who needs to hear it. ♥️
Your emotions aren’t the problem.
Here’s the hard truth about emotions:
We often don’t want to feel them because we judge them.
We feel guilty for being angry.
We feel ashamed of being afraid.
We try to hide sadness, insecurity, or pain.
But what if your emotions aren’t something to be ashamed of?
✨ What if they’re simply FEEDBACK?
▪️ 1. Stop judging the emotion.
An emotion is simply showing you what’s happening inside of you. Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?” try asking, “What is this trying to show me?”
▪️ 2. Let guilt, fear, and shame be SIGNALS.
These emotions can be a reminder to pause and shift your focus. You don’t have to stay stuck in them. You can choose thoughts that move you toward love, peace, and compassion.
▪️ 3. Learn to experience love daily.
If you want more love in your life, start by practicing it with yourself. Speak kindly to yourself. Give yourself GRACE. Celebrate your progress.
▪️ 4. You don’t have to hide what you feel.
I’ve learned that emotions become easier to work through when we stop fighting them. Feel them. Listen to them. Then choose where you want to go next.
It really can be that simple.
Your emotions are not your IDENTITY.
They are information.
✨ And sometimes, the most powerful shift is simply choosing love over judgment.
I hope this serves you today.

✨ I stopped trying to prove I’m a good mom.
I started trusting the work I’ve done on myself.
And motherhood gave me some of the clearest proof.
▪️ 1. When my child is happy and thriving…
I know I’m doing something right.
Not because she’s happy every second.
But because she feels safe enough to be herself.
That matters more to me than being the “perfect” mom.
▪️ 2. When she pushes back…
I don’t see failure.
I see a teaching moment.
Yes, I discipline her.
Because loving your child doesn’t mean letting them do whatever they want.
Sometimes love looks like boundaries.
Sometimes love looks like saying “no.”
And sometimes the hardest thing I can do for her is let her be uncomfortable while she learns.
▪️ 3. When she repeats something I’ve taught her…
My heart is full.
Because that’s when I realize:
She’s listening.
She’s learning.
She’s becoming.
The lessons we teach our children don’t always show up right away.
Keep showing up anyway.
▪️ 4. When she struggles…
I look inward.
Because sometimes my child’s behavior touches something inside of me that still needs love.
That’s where my inner child comes in.
Instead of asking, “Why is she acting like this?”
I can also ask:
“What is this bringing up in me?”
That question can change everything.
✨ Our children are powerful mirrors.
They can reflect back our fears.
Our beliefs.
Our wounds.
And even the parts of ourselves we haven’t fully healed yet.
But here’s the beautiful part…
When you build a better relationship with yourself, it changes every relationship around you.
Especially the relationship you have with your children.
And the relationships you ALLOW into your life.
♥️ It all starts with you.
The more you heal, the more you trust yourself.
The more you trust yourself, the higher your standards become.
And the higher your standards become, the less willing you are to accept relationships that don’t honor you.
