I am in the process of getting the School Team Challenge entry form out to our bowlers. I did email our college bowlers the form tonight along with the college coaches that I have email addresses for. I will email the Wisconsin high school bowlers later this week. Just a couple quick updates.

The results from Sunday are online. The school team challenge entry on the site is not the correct form and should be updated soon.

Robert Vater is thinking of running another clinic next month in Green Bay the day before our JBST event. Please comment if you are interested in attending.

There is a Packer home game that weekend for those needing a hotel for that weekend.

In November I will be running a School Team Challenge event for the first time. I would like to also run this event in the spring time in the Southeast Wisconsin area but open to all JBST bowlers. Possible dates would be

Saturday March 27th
Saturday April 3rd
Sunday April 4th
Saturday April 10th
Sunday April 11th

Hopefully we can run it on a date that will not conflict with other youth tournaments. Please comment on which date I should look at it running this event.

On November 28th I will be running the JBST School Team Challenge at Buzz Social in Green Bay. This is a scratch event. Each team will consists of 4 bowlers (2 boys and 2 girls). Each team should contain at least 1 or 2 bowlers who have bowled in the JBST events prior to the event. The entire team does not need to made up of all JBST bowlers. Up to 2 schools can be represented on each team. Entry is $75 per bowler ($300 for the team). Max of 24 teams per division. Divisions are high school and collegiate. For the high school division, I am going to start with Wisconsin High Schools only for this event. If everything goes well with this event I will be planning two School Team Challenges next year, one in Wisconsin and one in Illinois. Multiple rounds will mainly be one game matches except for the team baker round which is 4 baker games across 4 lanes, then a break, and then double elimination bracket match play. Entry deadline will be November 13th.

Entry forms were available at the event this past Sunday and should be on our website in the next couple days. I will also try to email our bowlers the entry form later this week or early next week.

Today we had 111 bowlers competing in Kenosha at our event. Congratulations to our champions: Ben Medina (Boys Scratch), RaeAnne Kalsto (Girls Scratch), and Lucas Wronski (Handicap). We awarded over $5,200 in scholarships which brings our total to over $12,200 for the season and over $931,500 since 2006. We also awarded 12 Junior Gold spots. Congrats to Blake Mitchell (U14), Nico Lollino (U14), Riley Bogard (U16), Aidyn O'Kane (U16), Lilly Lucht (U16), Zachary Genteman (U18), Preston Hubacz (U18), Kellen Young (U18), Nathen Huckstorf (U18), Ian Peters (U18), Owen Crammond (U18), Mariah Weiss (U18), and Isabel Evjen (U18).

Our next event, we will be celebrating the tour's 20th anniversary, at Buzz Social on October 11th. Hope to see everyone there.

Our next event is just under two weeks away. Spots are avialable. At our last event and those I talked to at Junior Gold I will be running a team event open to collegiate teams and Wisconsin High School teams. I am just finalizing the entry form right now and should hopefully have it available next week. It will be a four person team event (2 men and 2 women). Entry is $75 a bowler and a max of 24 teams per division. If we get the 24 teams first place would be $2,000 for the team.

Since this event is for high school and collegiate teams only, I am thinking of running another team challenge event just like this one but it open to all bowlers 21 and under. Right now I would be running it on it's own and not tyig it to one of our events. More than likely it will be in the Southeast Wisconsin area. I just need an idea of which dates I should try to run the team event. Please comment on which dates I should try for and hopefully it will not conflict with other events.
