Way back Wednesday brings us a board built in 2019! A custom 11ft Dead symboled ride. I custom framed out that symbol so light can shine all the way through to the other side:) What was the first year YOU remember seeing us? And do you recall the board?

This is NOT our sign ……but it does feel like how I answer if I’m available or not. Trying to explain to a client that “ technically I’m avalible all day, except if I’m glassing as there’s a good 30-40 mins I can’t stop. But then if I need to run to the store or to a visit with someone else or if one of the girls needs a quick ride and so on and on………
Long weekend, leaving phone in the truck. Who's with us? 🏄

Throwback Thursday: back in May, Jason sat down with Dr. Wegmann on the Purpose Maker Podcast for a conversation that went a lot deeper than paddle boards. 🎙️🪵
He talked about building his very first board in his parents' garage back in 2012 — a little one for his daughter Shaunie, made from scrap fascia wood, just to see if he could make something float. He talked about being a 5th-generation descendant of Chief Petoskey, the man our city is named after. And he talked about the harder stuff too — a wild childhood, learning to forgive, and how faith and family turned a guy who just wanted "Christmas money" into a small business that's now handcrafted 500+ boards.
His philosophy hasn't changed since board number one: it's got to be the coolest thing you've ever seen, it's got to be eco-friendly, and it's got to last long enough to hand down to your kids.
If you missed it this spring, it's worth the listen (or the read — we've got the full transcript up too).
