Had a very nice young man (about 8 years old) that bought some Comb Assistants for his Flow hive. We had a really good discussion about the challenges of having to put the Comb Assistants on the outside edges of the hive. His Dad sent us an email to share his success. The first picture is from 2 weeks ago and the pic inside the hive is from yesterday.
That sure is some beautiful comb. And to see it on outside frames is impressive!
The Bee season is fast approaching! Bee sure to get your Comb Assistants in for that peak honey flow.
Why is The Comb Assistant is right for you…
• Does not require an entire honey super, run as few as one frame in a hive
• Low cost compared to other systems…. Buy 1 or 100 your level of investment is up to you.
• Harvest on demand. Take a knife and container out to the Bee Yard with you. You don’t have to wait for the entire frame to be capped. When a section is capped and ready to harvest just cut it out and put the frame right back in the hive and let the Bees continue to work the rest of the frame.
A couple of keys to success with The Comb Assistant.
• Wax the top of each section to encourage the bees to use it.
• Checker board Comb Assistant frames with foundation frames (preferably drawn comb but not required)
• Position Comb Assistant Frames near the center of the super.

If you recently purchased a Deep Unassembled Comb Assistant kit from us. We need to let you know that we had a minor production issue with 4 of the pieces in the kit being labeled incorrectly in some of the kits.
In this case, the unlabeled pieces (x2) were accidentally labeled with the Honey Bee and the Honey Bee pieces (x2) were left unlabeled.
If you find that you are having fitment issues, please reverse the assembly of these two pieces and everything should fit together correctly.
We strive for much greater quality than this in our products and we apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this has caused.
