NOAA Fisheries has announced the 2022 red snapper season for vessels with federal for-hire reef fish permits.
The season will begin at 12:01 a.m., local time, on June 1, 2022, and will close at 12:01 a.m., local time, on August 19, 2022, for a total of 79 days in Gulf federal waters.
