PENSACOLA IS GETTING ITS FIRST FULLY FUNDED PROFESSIONAL JIU-JITSU TEAM.

Launching January 1, 2027.

Witness Martial Arts is officially developing the Witness Professional Jiu-Jitsu Team. A funded competition program built to give serious athletes the resources, training, and opportunities necessary to pursue high-level competition.

And when we say funded, we mean funded.

8 FUNDED STARTING POSITIONS REPRESENTING EACH OF THE OFFICIAL ADCC WEIGHT CLASSES

The founding roster will consist of:
5 Men.
3 Women.
8 Starting Spots.
Every starting position will be earned through official Roster Trials.
Not popularity.
Not reputation.
Not who you know.
The mat determines who earns the position.

And earning the position once does not make it yours forever.
Roster Trials will take place every six months.
Every six months, qualified athletes will have another opportunity to challenge for a funded starting position.
That means if you don't earn a spot at the first trials, your opportunity isn't over.
Keep training. Keep improving. Come back and earn it.
And if you do earn a starting position, understand that six months later, you'll have to prove you still deserve it.

WHAT FUNDED ATHLETES RECEIVE
Athletes who earn a starting position will receive support including:
• Paid tournament registration for designated events
• Paid transportation
• Paid hotel accommodations
• Competition-weekend food per diem
• Full professional team gear kit
• Professional coaching and cornering
• ADCC-focused competition training
• Paid personal training programming
• Free designated seminars, clinics, and guest-coach sessions
• Professional photography and video
• Competition footage and highlight reels
• Athlete profiles and promotional content
• Personal-brand and social-media development
• Access to team sponsors and special opportunities
• Additional competition support as the program develops

The objective is simple:
Remove as many financial and logistical barriers as possible between talented athletes and high-level competition.
We want our competitors focused on training, preparation, and winning; not whether they can afford the entry fee, hotel room, or gas to get there.

WHO CAN COMPETE FOR A POSITION?
Roster Trials will be open exclusively to eligible Witness Martial Arts members.
This is a professional competition team being built from within our training room.
So if you've been considering joining Witness Martial Arts and you are serious about competing, now is the time.

The date for our inaugural Roster Trials will be announced very soon.
Don't wait until the trial date is posted to start preparing.
Get in the room now.
Start training now.

Give yourself time to earn it.
There will also be opportunities for reserve athletes and developmental competitors who want to train within the professional environment and work toward a future starting position.

Over the coming months, we will release the official weight divisions, eligibility requirements, Roster Trial format, competition schedule, athlete responsibilities, sponsorship opportunities, and complete benefits package.

This program will be built around performance, discipline, accountability, professionalism, and character.
We aren't interested in simply assembling a group of good competitors.

We are building an institution capable of developing them.
Pensacola has incredible jiu-jitsu talent.

It's time to give that talent something worth competing for.
