It was one hot day today, but our kiddos were back at it! Not too bad for the start of our Fall ball season. We tied a game and won the second! Way to go Swingmen, let’s continue to work hard to have a successful fall season!

What a 4 day weekend. What a team. What a story.

The semifinal game was an absolute nail-biter. With our backs against the wall, #5 Ashton stepped up and crushed a home run to tie the game. We battled through another inning before heading into California rule.

The Rattlers struck first, putting up 3 runs. It would’ve been easy to hang our heads—but that’s not who we are.

Our top of the lineup had been fighting through a slump all weekend, but when our team needed them most, they answered.

#23 Geo hit a pop fly in center and brought in 1 run. Score 6-4. #2 Roman rips a line drive to center field and brought in 2 runs. Score 6-6.

Then #11 Noel stepped in… BAM! Another line drive to center field. Two more runs crossed the plate, and just like that, we completed the comeback and punched our ticket to the championship! Score 6-8

The championship game was everything you’d expect. A hard-fought battle with momentum swinging both ways. But when it mattered most, our bats came alive, our defense stood tall, and every single player trusted the one standing beside them.

The energy from our parents was unmatched. They never stopped believing, never stopped cheering, and never stopped pushing the team forward.

Just after midnight on a Sunday, the final out was made. We could finally breathe. Score 1-4.

That championship ring on every Swingmen player’s finger wasn’t just a piece of jewelry—it represented countless hours of practice, sacrifices made by families, tears, adversity, resilience, and the unwavering belief that this team could accomplish something special.

Swingmen came out and won both pool games. Putting us at 1st seed! Working hard on the 4th of July!

Day 2: 5 TOOL WORLD SERIES 2026

Another late night for Swingmen AP, but this team never let the delays get in the way.

Games were running behind, and technical difficulties on the field caused another delay. Instead of letting it affect them, our team stayed locked in and ready to play.

Once the first pitch was thrown, it was all Swingmen AP. The bats were absolutely on fire, the defense was making plays, and every player contributed to an incredible team performance.

Final score: 17-1! 🔥⚾

PART 2: We started our first pool game a little shaky. The bats were quiet, the defense wasn’t as sharp as we’re used to, and things just felt a little off.

The bottom of our lineup sparked a rally, everyone fed off the momentum, and together we battled our way back to earn a hard-fought 5-4 victory in our first pool game.

In the middle of the game, we got to pause for the incredible 5Tool fireworks show.

Thank you, 5Tool, for creating such an unforgettable experience. Now it’s time to rest up and get ready for tonight. One game at a time.⚾️

Continued Day 4⚾

The day started with a huge win in our first bracket game, giving us the opportunity to face the tournament’s #1 seed. We found ourselves down early but never stopped fighting. The boys battled until the very last out and nearly completed an incredible comeback. Unfortunately, we came up just short. A few costly errors and quiet bats made the difference.

Even after that loss, we had earned ourselves a day off. We made the most of it by creating memories that will last a lifetime. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out our Saturday highlights on our page! It was a day this team truly deserved.

Day 5 – Do or Die 💙❤️

Win or go home.

The team left everything they had on the field. A few defensive errors put us in a tough spot, but they never quit. Our bottom of the lineup stepped up and competed incredibly well, giving us every chance to fight back. Add in a few tough calls that didn’t go our way, and it became a mountain too steep to climb.

It was a heartbreaking loss and the end of our journey in Pensacola.

While this wasn’t the ending we dreamed of, it doesn’t erase everything this team accomplished. From earning our way to the World Series, finishing 3-0 in pool play, placing 5th out of 17 teams, battling through Tropical Storm Arthur, rain delays, heat, and adversity, to representing San Antonio with pride, the team gave us so many moments to celebrate.

To our players: thank you for your heart, your grit, and the memories. To our coaches, families, and supporters: thank you for believing in team every step of the way.
