🇺🇸 COMMUNITY CAPTAIN SPOTLIGHT 🇺🇸

During Thursday night’s Military Appreciation Game, we were honored to recognize Mr. Tom Sally as our Community Captain.

Tom served 21 years in the United States Air Force as a C-130 Crew Chief, supporting major operations including Just Cause, Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Provide Comfort, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. His decorated career took him to duty stations across Panama, Italy, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait.

After retiring from the Air Force in 2004, Tom continued serving others as a Social Studies teacher at Kutztown High School for 12 years. He later became active with VFW Post 5954 in Red Hill, serving four years as Post Commander. Today, he is Commander of VFW District 16, supporting veterans throughout Montgomery, Bucks and Berks counties.

From military service, to education, to advocating for fellow veterans, Tom has built a life around service, leadership and giving back.

Thank you, Tom, for your decades of service and sacrifice. We were proud to honor you as our Community Captain. 🇺🇸💙💛

Another Wednesday Team Dinner as we get ready for tomorrow night’s HOME GAME! 💙💛🏈

A very special thank you to the Hopwood family for taking such great care of our team tonight with pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, mac & cheese and garden salad. We truly appreciate the time, effort and generosity that goes into providing a meal for all of our players.

We are so lucky to have football families who continue to show up and support our boys in so many ways. 💙💛

✨ Community Captain Spotlight ✨

For the past several seasons, Coach Heinrichs and the UPHS Football program have proudly recognized individuals whose service and leadership make the Upper Perkiomen Valley a stronger community. 💛💙

This past Friday Night Lights, we were honored to recognize Mr. Bob McCarty as our Community Captain.

A lifelong East Greenville resident and 1997 Upper Perk graduate, Bob has spent much of his life giving back to the Valley. His commitment includes 32 years with the East Greenville Fire Department, 9 years with the Upper Perk Rotary Club, and 15 years with the UPV Chamber of Commerce.

Bob is also the President and Owner of Valley Lock & Door, where his commitment to the community continues through local sponsorships, volunteer service, and support of countless Valley events and organizations.

Through his service, leadership, and involvement throughout the community, Bob has spent decades supporting and strengthening the Upper Perkiomen Valley. Thank you, Bob, for all you have done—and continue to do—for the place you call home. 👏💛💙
