💙 September is Baby Safety Month! 💙

What better time to highlight the importance of building water-safety skills from the very beginning? 💦

In our Swimboree class, our little swimmers are introduced to foundational skills that help build confidence, awareness, and independence in the water.

Today we practiced:

✨ “1, 2, 3, gasp!” — preparing for submersion
✨ Proper hand placement
✨ Our first rollover

Swimboree works toward five important goals:
🏊 Back float
🏊 Submerged rollover
🏊 Full submersion from the wall
🏊 Separating from a parent
🏊 Building independence in the swim ring

These skills take time, patience, and practice — and every little step counts. 🩵

This September, let’s celebrate Baby Safety Month by making water safety part of the conversation from an early age.

What does it take to become a British Swim School instructor? 🏊

Before teaching lessons, every instructor completes background screening and a minimum of 40 hours of training focused on water safety, survival swim skills and supporting swimmers at every stage.

This preparation helps our instructors create a safe, encouraging environment where swimmers can build skills and confidence at their own pace.
