It's about to be our biggest event EVER!! 🤯 🔥 🎱 Who's ready?!

Fall Session Starts August 17th!

The Summer Session is coming to an end, which means it's time to start building your Fall teams! Whether you're bringing back your current team, starting a new one, or looking for a team to join, now is the perfect time to get ready. League play begins the week of August 17th!

Along with the new session comes a few updates we'd like everyone to know about:

Bylaw Updates - We've made several updates to our local bylaws for the Fall Session. While most changes are minor clarifications, there are a few new additions we'd like to highlight. The updated bylaws are available on our website, and we encourage everyone--especially captains--to take a few minutes to read through them.

Double Jeopardy Weekly Fee Adjustment - Beginning with the Fall Session, National APA will no longer allow us to offer discounted pricing for Double Jeopardy teams. Because of this, the weekly fee for each DJ match will increase by $1 to match the existing single-format rate. (Was $35 | Now $40)

New Achievement Patches - We're excited to introduce several new patches that can be earned during league play! (Some of you may have seen these already)

- I Beat a 6: Awarded to a Skill Level 4 or lower who defeats a Skill Level 6 in 8-Ball
- I Beat a 7: Awarded to a Skill Level 5 or lower who defeats a Skill Level 7 in 8-Ball
- I Beat an 8: Awarded to a Skill Level 6 or lower who defeats a Skill Level 8 in 9-Ball
- I Beat a 9: Awarded to a Skill Level 7 or lower who defeats a Skill Level 9 in 9-Ball
- Good Sportsmanship Patch - Players can also be nominated for a Good Sportsmanship Patch through a form on our website. This award is intended to recognize players who go above and beyond to demonstrate exceptional sportsmanship--not simply for being friendly (though we certainly appreciate that, too!).

- Monday 9-Ball @ DAMIFINO, Hitching Post, Ten Pin, and Twisters
- Wednesday Double Jeopardy @ DAMIFINO and Hitching Post
- Thursday 8-Ball @ VFW Pearland, Twisters, DAMIFINO, and Ten Pin
- Friday Double Jeopardy @ DAMIFINO, Hitching Post, Ten Pin, Twisters, Fraternal Order of Eagles, One Beer Compadre, and Creek Side Bar

What a great weekend! We may not have taken as many pictures as we wanted (turns out running three brackets at once keeps us pretty busy 😅) but we had an absolute blast watching some great matches and celebrating our MVP qualifiers!

Join us on Saturday, August 1 for our NEW FORMAT 9-Ball Round Robin Tournament at Damifino.

Instead of playing long matches, every round is a single rack of 9-Ball against a randomly drawn opponent. Your number of "lives" is based on your current APA 9-Ball Skill Level, so everyone has a chance to battle their way through the field.

Registration is open NOW and will be closing Friday, July 31 at 12:00PM.
