I believe there is more to being a cowgirl
than the cattle drives & rodeo nights.
Itā€™s not the cowboy hats & button up shirts,
Or the spade bits & a pretty horse.
Instead I would say itā€™s a little more quiet-
Itā€™s lifting the fallen hands & lending a smile.
Itā€™s being kind & courageous,
Being honest & faithful,
Staying true to yourself all the while.
I believe thereā€™s more to being a cowgirl than riding a horse,
Itā€™s about who you are when no one is watching.

I think the hardest thing we find ourselves doing is comparing our small wins to others big wins, and we donā€™t think they are good enough. Like the stop isnā€™t big enough, the turn isnā€™t fast enough, or we look at someone else and think ā€œtheyā€™re just doing so much better than meā€. None of that is true. Not only are you a different rider than they are, but your horse is also a different horse than theirs. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, and there is no sense in comparing. Comparison steals the joy from our own wins, no matter how big or small. And every win, deserves its own moment. Your win deserves to be celebrated. šŸ«¶šŸ½
